I would certainly welcome it ...let me trade for example my digital copy of Lego Marvel in for 50% of it's price. Of course I'll lose access to the game but the money will be available on my PSN account for another digital purchase. You can bet your horse that I will buy much much more games from PSN if that becomes reality.
I think it has story reasons:

Evil Karma = Noon
I think the city looks spectacular with good karma (I think I didn't even see this scenario during the campaign) but evil just looks boring.

I don't think that any game these days is good enough for a subscription ...seriously, this business model needs to go. I would be kinda okay with it if would be free at first and then have a subscription but 60 bucks + 15 bucks per month? That's simply too much, I don't have the time to make this investment worth it.

I like all the recent positive news about this and since they moved the game into a period where almost no competition exists I'm naturally interested. I really hope they can keep all their promises and give us a living city with lots of interaction possibilities.
No please, don't bring Rising games into this. The original (stealthy) vision for Rising was amazing but Platinum turned it into a mindless hackfest.
There is still plenty of known stuff in the MGS universe untouched so real MGS games are very possible ...I really hope TPP will not be Kojimas last game for the franchise.
