Did you play NFS Rivals? It runs with locked 30fps and there aren't any problems with it. Now they have to deliver with the graphics because this has to look crazy good to justify the framerate.
Me neither but at least a handful of people have nothing to complain anymore. I won't change the light, never had any problems with it.
I just hope it's something fresh and original. Don't know why but the first thing that came to my mind after reading the title was a game where you play a Werewolf or Vampire. That would be some topics that aren't really used up yet. (and yes, Elder Scrolls has both but there's still lots of potential)
It's an interesting design choice but I would still prefer a higher level cap AND the focus on gear ...this basically limits the amount of customization and character development which COULD be a shortcoming in the end. I will not judge it till I play it though.
Big agree, I went full digital with PS4 and this news is more than great. Also, I've taken a day off for the release of Watch Dogs so I'm all set now :)
Wasn't it always just "2014" without any specific month? Maybe it was summer at some point but I have to agree with Palitera, 2014 seems more unlikely with every day that passes.
Still waiting for a release date ...hopefully before the peak season as I won't have enough time to enjoy the other games then :S
That's actually good to hear. Making Battlefront 3 canon almost confirms a good story in that game. Also it shows that this is a big deal for both EA and LucasArts so we might be in for a very good game. On another note I liked especially this part a lot:
"EA's Frank Gibeau told CVG that the new plan for EA is to rotate between Titanfall, Star Wars: Battlefront and Battlefield games every year."
Maybe EA is changing for the better, giving ga...
After playing NFS Rivals with rock-solid 30fps I'm not that concerned about the framerate tbh ...60 would be great (especially since a lot of people are expecting it) but I would be ok with locked 30fps but much better graphics instead.
Yes it looks amazing but I'm not so sure about the other aspects yet ....I'm expecting good driving physics, good AI, 16 cars on track, very good multiplayer (it's a "social racer" after all) and lots of engaging content in the single player modes. Also many different cars and locations are necessary to make this an overall amazing game. I still fear this might just be a "solid racer" in the end but I'm excited to see it's development.
I wasn't serious but your point can be disproven with many examples. It just would've been cool to see him in the industry again and he's one of the people that might be able to get Nintendo out of it's mess.
The powah of marketing is strong in this one. They always make it seem like it's a big thing but unfortunately the sales give them the right to do so ...on the other hand the sales mainly come from these huge marketing campaigns, and not from the quality of the games ...so it's pretty much a vicious circle :D
I dunno, it's a combination of trailers & gameplay released so far and the marketing in general. Usually, you can get a good feel of the confidence publisher&devs have in a title. With Evil Within this confidence isn't really present so I think that it will be a solid but not outstanding game. Same goes for Murdered: Soul Suspect for example.
Iwata seems like one of the main problems at the moment. Jack Tretton would be an epic substitution for him and his strange multimedia&health ideas.
Mine is on Child of Light, great alternatives these days.
I always thought it will be a 7/10 at best. Evil Within won't be much better though, maybe an 8/10.
And it seems to work ...but it's utterly pathetic to sell out like this.
lol 6.5, Polygon at it again ...I won't even bother giving them my click. Judging by the other reviews their justification for this score is not worth reading anyway.
I think they only said that it's being revealed soon ...they didn't announce any specific date yet.
Why should I want to play the multiplayer that everybody is hating?
I would have tried out the Extinction mode but I'm certainly not interested in the MP.
