These graphics look easily achieveable on PS4 (and X1).
Nothing's better than watching E3 conferences while getting paid. In my timezone it starts at 3:00 AM so I actually took off the day from work to be ready :D
^You wouldn't seriously pay 100 bucks to watch this? My limit would be 15 ...but I would definately do it for that price. They really could've charged a few bucks for it, I can't believe it's free.
So the rumors about Xbox exclusivity were wrong as it seems.
AC2 was about 10 times as good as AC1. But yes, the following entries sucked and AC4 was enjoyable.
Sorry but it's stupid to assume that he could've meant the whole game ...of course he was talking about the DLC.
Yeah adding a "Charles King" to a huge city full of a randomly-generated NPCs is certainly "undeniable proof" that Ubisoft is watching us ;D
Without a doubt, even GoW3 is still a treat to look at. I think that after the desaster of their cancelled IP they are free to go back to something familiar just to recollect their thoughts. Normally I would've wished they waited a bit longer but now I'm really hoping that they're in full production of GoW4 already.
Yes it's good to tackle those topics once in a while. We should all know exactly which companies are passionate about their work (e. g. Naughty Dog, From Software) and which are just looking at target groups and maximized profit (EA, Activision).
But on the other hand, generic 1st person shooters still are the topsellers on the market so we shouldn't only blame developers for losing their passion but also ourselves to some extent.
I for one only hope that th...
Cinematic games do sometimes, for example Sleeping Dogs plays a bit strange with 60fps ...but the responsiveness is still much better than 30fps of course. It's called soap opera effect and makes the picture look hyperrealistic/ultra smooth

The thing is, with sports, racing or fighting games this effect is perfect and complimentary. But with cin...
How can you buy a PS4 and sell it just to buy it again in a few months? I have a WiiU as well, it's a great console, but I don't get your reasoning.
I hope this is the setting for UC4 :O

Please elaborate how is 8GB GDDR5 Ram for 400$ "outdated"? I'd say it's right on time if you want to build&sell an affordable console.
For me it depends on the content that's available for it. 250 would be great but I'm expecting a bit more ...if the hardware is convincing and it actually improves the experience by far (like: "I can't imagine gaming without it anymore!") then a higher price probably won't scare me away.
All in all it depends on the game itself. Some games actually feel weird with 60fps, some games are horrible at 30fps. Developers should know exactly what they're trying to achieve and make the best decisions for their own game instead of following the shouts of "1080p/60fps !!!" and then using these numbers as a marketing tool. I think it's great when developers are listening to their community but when it comes to the actual technology behind the curtains, they should know...
What's with complicated examples like Driveclub where it's basically half-free? I think that it depends on the game itself and on the content you can buy ...let me start with saying that I never bought any ingame stuff and I'll probably never do - but if the game itself is build without microtransactions in mind and you can progress through it without them, then I can live with microtransactions added in for people who would like to speed things up. It's just extremely importa...
Nah, for a start I see no reason to having both consoles and I envy everyone who has the time to enjoy and money to maintain both. But it's also far from being attractive to me on a rational level. My personal priorities when buying a console are:
Exclusives > Hardware > Price > 3rd Party Games > Online Offering
...and in comparison the X1 still falls short in most of these aspects so the benefits from having it are very limited to me. I can see peopl...
lol some of you are funny ...these guys have worked with DirectX for years but the PS4 architecture allows direct access to the hardware - so they simply say that they don't need DirectX in between... which makes perfect sense for anyone with a brain. Of course you can't work on PC without DirectX but on a console you can do that since the hardware is the same for everyone.
Microsoft would need to change it's (incredibly stupid) policies to allow a later release of these games.
Actually shocking, first Titanfall and now this. This has to be a management decision, no developer would be glad to hear that he has to support the 8 year old hardware again which was maxed out a couple years ago.
