I couldn't care less about an Insomniac game by now but if it's the b-team I might ...even care less.
Everyone in my age group knows about it, even the girls. Of course there is no interest in the 30+ group but the target group knows about those consoles and most of them already made the decision to never ever get the X1. But a lot of them also didn't make the decision to get a next-gen console at all at the moment.
I think it is too early from a development standpoint but I wouldn't mind a new PSASBR. But they need to change the concept to get me interested, the game had potential but that something was missing, especially when you make the comparison to SSMB. I'm not blaming SuperBot, it was a very good first effort, but next time they need to step their game up. And since Santa Monica seems to have taken over this Franchise, I expect A LOT from a new PSASBR.
"It must be PlayStation fans in disguise."
Like we care. Even with there being so many arguments against Xbox this time there will always be those that will buy it no matter what.
Or it's a rappping game

If the release is in November it's definately possible, if it's in December I'd think that they leave that for Gamescom. But since IGN seems to have an exclusive deal with Sony to reveal it first, I wouldn't think it'll be the release date.
Where?
No it's no joke, a game console from third parties is very likely /s
^All those studios were pretty silent for one year or even longer so it's practically clear that we'll get something from then within the first year. Sony has a good business plan games of regilar releases for a couple of years now.
^I don't think that Sony makes the same mistake again as "being arrogant". They tried, they failed, they learned from it, like humans usually do. Microsoft did the same recently and had to change it's policies in order to avoid a desaster.
On the other hand, of course competition is good for the market. But I have no sympathy for Microsoft's approach to gaming and their policies in general.
I would rather have it battled out between Son...
I could also live without more CoD or AC. Sequels CAN be good but most of the time it's just the same in green. I'm way more interested in new IP's but of course, it's harder to develop something good out of nothing.
Now that the PS4 outdoes the X1 in most points the cloud seems like the last straw MS supporters are holding onto lol
Since I'm playing offline most of the time and with that cloud thing you have to have a stable internet connection permanently (which is NOT guaranteed even in the large city I live) I couldn't care less. The whole concept of an always-online console was introduced way to early imo. The USA may be ready for it, but the world clearly is not.
^You're right, if Turn10 would say that the Xbox One is the most powerful console right now I wouldn't see it that way because we know the specs of both consoles by now.
Though what he says is completely comprehensible by our information, so he just spoke the truth.
but what about teh cloud ...?
It's better at the moment but we all know that this is going to change once Sony's first party announces it's games. Also, you can't be sure about the exclusivity claims on some X1 titles.
You know a game is good when it sparks this kind of conversations.
^I didn't say money is an issue to me (at least it's not anymore, lol), it's just that I was raised pretty humble and therefore I treasure the value of my money. I'm not buying things I don't need just to have them and I'm just not able to see the value the Xbox One would have for me if I would already own a PS4 (which is a no brainer seeing how this console generation turned out)
I play a lot of multiplatform games too but imo the exclusives offered the best "experiences" this gen. I won't forget Demon's Souls, God Of War 3, Journey, Heavy Rain, The Last Of Us or Ni No Kuni because they all had something special. Games like Assasin's Creed or Call of Duty seem more generic in that matter because they adapt more to current trends and because of that, they don't sink that deep into my memory ...so exclusives are a crucial selling point to me.
It's PS3 (IGN confirmed it) and at the moment, this looks like a typical Ratchet game. I'll pass since I'll be playing PS4 once this releases.
