I just finished a 60 player game in the BETA, and ZERO noticeable lag.
There was so much going on I was surprised that there wasn't even a little lag, just seamless online awesomeness
I was playing a 60 player game in the beta and it was AMAZING, and the maps are HUGE, it would take forever to get to my objective sometimes :P

Long story short, it's because the architecture of a 360 and a PC are similar. Not because ps3 is inferior in any way, which its not.

HALO 3 - has been out for over 1 year
Gears of war - has been out for almost 2 years
MGS4 - has been out for a little over 4 months
and those MGS4 sales numbers were from August, and you act like 3.2 million sales is a bad thing.

If you read or watched the review, you would know that the graphics are upgraded to higher res in the ps3 version.
Plus, the ps3 version has exclusive content, and gameplay modes

Being optimized for the ps3 will just make a 360 version that much harder, I would guess if they decided to make a 360 version, it would be in development for at least 2 years.
MGS4 used almost all of the ps3's traits, from bluray, to motion sensing, to its pressure sensitive buttons. The 360 has none of those things.

I find it funny that you are arguing on how the ps3 games run at low res and low framerates when in reality the ps3 has more games to run at native 1080p than the 360, despite having less titles overall.
Well, the ps3 still has more native 1080p games than the 360
If you want 1080p, get GT5p or the upcoming White Knight Chronicles and other I can't think of :P
