I see you have no idea how the ps3's ram works, and yes, the GPU does have up to 512mb of ram, as does the CPU its just that it has two different kinds of ram, both 256mb and both shared between the CPU and GPU, but one type is mainly for the GPU and the other for the CPU.
Actually 3x would match surpass and be slower, DVD's read at different speeds depending on where the data is on the disk, bluray reads at the same speed no matter what, and bluray 4x surpasses DVD 12x altogether.

I agree, neither can match the speed of a hard drive but putting full games would take up a lot of space fast, so a fast disk drive is helpful

I would also like to point out that bluray is actually faster than DVD, its just the drive the ps3 uses (2x)
2 DVD's and still needs compression, and so much compression it makes the game look worse, and you Xbots said bluray was pointless
Do you know why Sony has lost more 3rd party exclusives? They had more to start with, and all the 3rd party exclusives on the 360 have gone to the ps3 as well
They'll probably keep it multiplatform, but this suggests any exclusives they make could be for the ps3

I don't see how the 360 controller is better. I feels much worse, I hate the location of the left analogue stick it just doesn't fit my hand right and I have a hard time controlling it, the d-pad sucks, if you ever try navigating the menu with that thing you can't ever go in the direction you want to, it always goes off to the side, the triggers may seem better but when playing a game, they're nowhere near the ds3 ease of use. The controller absolutly sucks in racing games, and all other game...

It will not come to the 360, there are to many Sony and Apple products in the game. You carry around an iPod the whole games, M$ would not allow that, All the computers are Macs and there are countless PS references.
