Thats what sony plans to do with Trophies, you can use them to buy stuff in HOME as well as the PS store.
But ALL pc's have hard drives, and require the "dreaded" install, something that can't be done on the 360.
You obviously never used a ps3 before, the installs on a lot of games are optional, GT5p and SC4 i know right of the top of my head and there are more, and installs make the game play better, I know your thinking it has to do with the *slow* bluray drive(I can also prove to you that bluray is faster than DVD) but its not, many developers want to make mandatory installs on the 360 but the arcade version prevents them.

There was a 10 million lead at one point, the 360 out sold the ps3 for about 5 months. Ps3 sold more consoles worldwide last year, and has done this year. The current gap is 5.5 million not 6(i know i said 5)

The ps3 has outsold the 360's total numbers in every region except NA.

You really think so, well take this into consideration, there was a gap of 10 million consoles last year, this year its 5 million. The ps3 has already over took the 360 in Europe despite the 360 being cheaper than the Wii there.
If the 360 is as great as you say it is, shouldn't the gap be widening not closing?

Thats the main reason I hate the 360, outrageously overpriced accessories, and the accessories can't be used with anything else, such as the HDD, once you buy a new one, the old one is completely useless

Its not the cost of making the disk thats the problem, its that M$ is charging unnecessary fees for each extra disk. Stupid if you ask me.

The ps3 has 256mb of GDDR3 dedicated to the CPU, and another 256mb of XDR(better than GDDR3) shared between the cpu and gpu
Then why is the switch from DVD to bluray happening faster than the switch from VHS to DVD? If you asked if anyone wanted DVD ten years ago they would have said no.
