As a seperate sku 50$ less price than base unit? Sure why not. As a main unit? Hell no

so it's either they replaced the parts to take down the cost in the holidays, or very unlikely, that they have replaced the GPU with a downclocked navi to help devs get used to the gpu architecture.

"After Microsoft decided to delay Crackdown 3 yet again - the final time the company is willing to do so, I've heard - the many developers working on it were faced with at least another six months of work after having previously thought they'd be done with the project in June 2018. For many of the developers working on Crackdown 3, this latest delay means potentially more crunch for what some expect will be a disappointment of a release no matter how much money and resources Micr...

i don't know, people criticized fallout 4 for leaning too much to the action fps gameplay instead of the RPG mechanics. i am still hopeful it will be fantastic, they just need to be careful.

i feel like this could be a mistake and they actually meant 5 million players in general, because that this number is kind of crazy if true.

it's just a name for now, it's obviously not gonna be called Xbox 2, i guess saying either Next Xbox or Xbox one successor will be good.

it means nothing, Japanese devs only starts to push their game engines years after consoles launch, the only way that this could be taken is if you read it as similar architecture to allow easy porting.

well, it means the sequel will be made faster right? in that case i don't really complain.

probably means the rest of the world will get nex machina as well next month.

1) we have an NDA-ed platform, meaning that some hardware is coming.
2) ps4 and Xbox 1 had the same thing back in 2012.
what more do you need? as i said it can also be the google box, but it still must be one of them.

a second option is the newly rumored Google console, However, going by the rumors mostly mentioning the fact the focus is on streaming games, i am fairly sure that the PS5 is a better potential candidate for this.

interesting, however they will just find out streaming only is not a profitable solution. if they really want to enter the console market, they'll have to create an actual console for it. the thing that i wonder though, will Google, focus only on third parties, or will they work / are working on compelling first party titles as well. without these it's hard to sell your device.

Easy, players spend a lot of money on MTX => legitimize the usage of predatory techniques to gain money from the player => a huge increase in service games with a massive drop in actual complete single player games

I care because of the effects of the industry as a whole. If gamers are paying more than full game prices on skins then it just legitimizes predatory actions against consumers with service mechanics. I am very afraid of the future of gaming because of this.

Really good game right here and DLC improved on some aspects of the main game. a 9/10 for me it was great.

2910d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

sure i don't mind paying like 20$ for a F2P game, just so the game can keep on going, but there is no reason that the average spending will be that high, especially when you got other games that are working a lot harder on creating a compelling game at full 60$ price and end up having less revenue. if players on average spend 85$ on F2P games, I don't see why other games don't cost 85$ on launch as well. the consumer definitely seems to show no issue with doing that going by that ...

well this game has a ton of choice and endings, it could lead to the opposite affect, of being interested in how much can you stray from the streamers ending.

2910d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

okay this is just ridiculous at this point. 85$ average how the hell is it this bad, you can buy a full game on launch + a game on a sale with that kind of money.

i wonder whether they will release the next iterations of Mon Hun switch on ps4 and XB1. the technical issues of porting world to the switch are obvious, but there wouldn't be any technical issues with porting the switch games to the other consoles.

I loved the game. hope the Xbox owners will enjoy this as well.
