WOW this is some freaking downgrade. i wondered about getting this just because of the beta images but now... nope.
i've played more games this generation than any generation before it combined and i'm having the time of my life i don't know what you are talking about.
well in japan there was the R&C remake so i get this claim. sadly i already own the game so i hope there's something else, well if not backlog clearing month.

game looks great! really like i'm playing a pixar film. i just hope that they'll improve the hair rendering/AA solution as the characters hair creates a lot of aliasing.
no problem, game was fantastic. if you want to add it to the sequel though i wouldn't complain, just make it playable in SP.
i don't see a switch port unless the game is heavily downgraded.
it's hard to say which gen is nintendo even fighting against. as the wiiu was their 8th gen then the switch is the 9th gen, and it also came mid way the regular generation of the other consoles.
anyway it doesn't even feel like nintendo is racing against sony and ms but instead just doing their own thing.

after checking the benchmark i get what he's saying. they are using much different tech for some stuff and it really looks stunning (TBH i also saw no difference between standard quality and high though, maybe a little more clean, but standard is definitly above ps4 quality)
nah, R* are taking exactly the same route they did with GTA V, first trailer at fall, then second trailer at the next fall, then a bunch of trailers and info and date during spring and release in the thrid fall.
That means that games that are running in resolutions above 1080p will downsample to 1080p on system level
