It does seem a bit of a cop out to be honest, but I spend most of the time playing on the channels and having fun. I think it's a great way of getting people to play songs they wouldn't usually play if it was all available to them.
I've played some songs I thought were quite amazing that I wouldn't have picked by myself. I've later gone and added them to my playlist so I am not just playing the same, say 10 songs.
The first has been available for a while I think. I know it's available on the UK PSN store. Tombi/Tomba is one of my favourite games and I still own a copy of the game on PS1, but it's scratched quite a lot. It works fairly well.
I remember playing the OB for 1.0 of FFXIV. The frame rate was just terrible. Me and my friend had very similar specs, I had an nVidia card, he had an AMD card. My frame rate was constantly up and down, and it was dropping to below 20fps in semi crowded places. He was at a comfortable 30fps.

They're going to lose a lot of money on refunds. If they have some sort of feature where you are invincible for 2 hours of gameplay, that would be bad for the consumer lol.

Me and my brother are getting Guitar Hero Live. Played it at EGX and it was fun, but challenging. It's just weird with the different button layout. My brain was getting confused when playing it lol.

Definitely playing the Battlefront beta. Again, me and my brother played the splitscreen demo at EGX. Handles really nicely, the game is so smooth and great looking. Can't wait to play this.
All developers do it. It saves space, time and money. It doesn't matter what game it is, there is always something that has been reused.

It's called optimization and being able to reuse textures. I don't see what the file size has to do with anything...
Look at other games; Lords of the Fallen is about 5GB. I think the game looks pretty good and isn't exactly a short game either.
Look at Skyrim on the 360. It's a 3.68GB game. It's also an open world game. How did they manage to compress all those textures, sound, etc. into that much space?

I guess I will have to see how it goes then... I'm only going for the day, so I want to make sure I do as much as I can during my time there. From the AAA's, I have to try out Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Battlefront, Mirror's Edge, Tomb Raider, TLoZ, The Division, and maybe a couple of others. I might have to prioritize some over the others if the lines get stupidly bad...

In terms of queues, how packed can the indie games get? I can understand with some of the big hitters, especially this year with Star Wars Battlefront, Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, etc.

Got this on my X1 a few weeks ago and its brilliant. Its challenging and the art style is charming. Im not amazing at the game though lol.
No days off for me sadly. I wont be able to play till after 7:30pm... I study and work on my project in the morning and afternoon and then work part time on the night.
Have to get as much time out of it as possible. The weekend will be my long play session.
