Not really. Indie was a term coined for entertainmen ventures that are independently produced. Originally refering to movies and games made with small teams and budgets but has got to the point where people who have more money are producing their own indies. Sometimes if an indie draws enough attention a bigger publisher like universal in movies or capcom in games will publish it for a cut because if its popular enough they have the infrastructure to produce it on a larger scale then actual i...
@shawn. First off i dont sell or trade my used games, when I'm done with them I give them to family and friends who want them simply because I think the trade in offers at places like gamestop are a rip off. They give you $5 for something and turn around and make $40 off it and thats bs. You basically proved my point of it being a rip off with your so called ebay sale. You say you sold a $329 card for $290 and your justification is they got a cheaper price, $39 to be exact. So they saved ...
Sounds like you're ripping people off lol. I'd never pay $120 for a piece if used hardware when i could buy a better new one for $200. That would be stupid.
Well it takes the average human brain 7ms to turn a thought into an action so if you have a high lag it can be noticable but theres a point on the low side it becomes irrelivant. For anyone looking to calibrate their tv apparently sony blurays have a calibration easter egg in the discs, this article explains it. 4369d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment
Cant believe this got approved. Its not gaming news its useless trivia. Where would anybody think the basis for pokemon looks come from besides nature?
Dude its like the guys above said. Watch the video. Its just a removable cover with a regular dpad underneath. If you dont like it just take it off, its that simple. I dont like the dpad cover either and will just take it off because I'm getting a pair of these controllers lol.
Hate to break it to you but I've never had downtime from psn maintenance other then that 1 time they had the whole network down from the ahole who decided to hack in. Anybody who says they have had down time from psn maintenence is either lying or it was their own fault out of stupidity. Heres how it works, before they start the maintenence you get this message saying when its going to take place and as long as you sign in at least once in the 48 hours before it starts then you can still ...
Download speed has to do mostly with your network set up. I never had a problem with download speed on psn. Longest download i ever had was the 29 gigs of ac4 which took half an hour.
Thing is digital rights management or drm is actually in place for all media and has been for a long time. There isnt a game consoke out that doesn't utilize some form of drm, they ALL do. The problem people had with the x1 is the level ms was trying to push it to. If you check the patent office you will see that EVERY console since the begining of gaming has some form of drm patent. Its all about digital piracy. Ms just tried to take it to an extreme that pissed off legit gamers by keepi...
@seph. Yes im serious. How could anyone not want a jump button in a game like this? The ease it would give in just getting in and out of boats would make it worth having. Then theres the places where if you could just jump 2 feet you could be on another building or platform or something without having to backtrack, fall and die or drop down infront of enemies. The lack of a jump button is a stupid decision from the devs imo. Going back to the atari and nes days we had controlers with only 2 a...
You forgot the lack of a jump button. I mean come on its a basic button in practically every game.
@meditate, you get to keep anything you buy with the plus discount, a lot of times you can get really good deals like 20-40% off games and dlc with plus. Heck you get $10 off drive club with plus when you upgrade to the full game. You cant fault a company for not giving away new games for free but at least a lot of games aren't years old. We got tomb raider after only a year. Truth is I only got plus to play my ps4 games online so I don't plan on letting my subscribe laps. Thing is th...
Nah, we still get more and better free games for $10 less per year. Still I hope this is true for you xbox guys, y'all have been getting screwed on this.
Don't know why the disaggrees, you didn't really say anything wrong. The human eye has a rough resolution of about 576 millionp ixels, the average 4k tv produces about 8.3 million pixels so yes unless you have sight issues you should definitely see a difference between 720p and 1080p. On topic with fps the human eye can perceive as many frames as are thrown at it, its the brain that pieces them together to make an image. Basically anything above 20fps will be recognized as a fluid mot...
Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on a decent headset then buy this crap, you'll thank yourself later.
My plyr1 works great and is 7.1 channel, wireless and gives me a good 8-10 hours solid battery life. I like the idea of the aluminum frame but that's the only plus I see in this headset because for $100 there are quite a few headsets with decent sound.
I could care less about titanfall myself but I do hope it comes to ps just to shut up these one bubble wonders making it out to be more then the same old fps it is.
What I find funny is that development of advanced warfare had already started before 3 of those games were even announced. How can you borrow from something that no one knows exists? On another note there's no entertainment these days not borrowing from something. Even movies are turning out recycled garbage, how many different comic book movies do we need people? This is actually why there's not many games I'm looking forward to, I'm tired of the same old same old. For me to...
I thought that was done in 2011 with the xperia play.
I think the truth is(and the pc elitists can't stand it) is that the pc gaming market is small compared to consoles and that big publishers and dev teams focas more on consoles because thats where they expect to make 75% of their sales. Sure thre are hardcore gamers who don't mind spending hundreds and even thousands maintaining a high end gaming rig because they have an urge to have the best of the best but for the vast majority of gamers a cheaper console that only needs to be repla...
