I've been up since 10 and have been signed in all day. I didn't even know this was a problem till i got on here earlier and after checking the only thing that I've not been able to access on my ps4 is the store. All the games I've played has work fine, netflix too. Of course there was only 3000 or so playing cod online which is extreamly low, never seen it under 25000. The same way ps now works duh. It doesn't require you to download anything but the app and it works suprisingly well and when its fully launched will work on just tvs and tablets. I still think that whoever tries it first as their primary game service without a console or pc will fail. Maybe 20 years from now a company might get away with a completly cloud based game service but not until internet is cheaper, more reliable and without limits on data.
I actually believe ms will be the 1st company to have a cloud console for 2 reasons. 1 they are pushing cloud computing and not only in games but their other products as well and 2 it would be cheaper for them then actually designing and releasing a new physical machine. Lets face it the xbox consoles themselves have never made any money, money made comes frome games and live which is why share holders are pissed and theres always talk of them spinning off the brand.
Tuning your pc settings is not the same as optimization though. All tuning does is allow you to give or take on various points of performance depending on your rigs capabilities. The truth told which pc boys hate but is none the less true is that spec for spec a pc will never out perform a console simply because the hardware in consoles is fixed. Just to make the point try to build any pc setup with only 512MBs of ram and see if you get anywhere close to the performance of the games that came...
Saying you get better performance is utter nonsense though. Higher spec does not equal higher performance comparing console to pc. Consoles will always recieve farbtter optimization while pc has to brute force its performance.
If psnow isn't working for you then your internet sucks because I've not had an issue with my mediocer 6Mbs per sec. And I'm sure it works just like any other hosted online multiplayer with the host machine doing the work and the only thing being streamed is the video to your friend and his button imputs being sent back. Online multiplayer uses very little data during gameplay, its in Kbs so its the host machines connection that matters the most since it has to stream the video.
And why would it be running 2 games? Its the same differance as playing couch multiplayer just with 2 couchs in different places and the only thing streaming is the image just like the share feature and the button imputs are coming back from your friends machine. There might be a small drop in image quality on the friends screen but theres no reason it shouldn't work any worse then online multiplayer.
I think its funny he's slamming nintendo for being under powered and over priced when the same thing can be said of the x1 compared to the ps4 lol. At least nintendo has a truly unique gaming experiance and if I was going to buy a 2nd console this gen to go with my ps4 then the wii u would be it. Theres plenty of shooters on playstation to get my fix so when it comes down to it I'd rather have zelda and mario then halo, gears or tomb raider.
Timed exclusive, which means every other platform gets it too in time. Plus its only tomb raider which didn't really sell all that well last time, hell the ps3 version hit free on ps+ in the 1st year. That announcment actually ment nothing to me simply because I have no interest in the game. If it hits plus or the $5 bin I may try it, other then that I don't care.

Except phil spencer has already confirmed that its timed exclusive and that it is croos gen coming out on 360 at the same time as x1. I still don't care, tr just doesn't excite me but this article is late with bad, old info. It looks like ms paid for it to be xbox exclusive just for the holidays in 2015 and pc/playstation should get it sometime in 2016.

Yeah I got it for $8 40 and got the kids lego batman 2 for $4.20. It was an awesome sale.
No jump button, no firing weapons from vehicles, stupid police and I could go on. Its an ok game but nothing special and definatly no game of the year. Average at best.
