We don't really like them when we're paying for stuff that should have been included with the retail version.

Well EA should stop being so crap if they want to avoid ridicule.
They should make it more difficult to register an account on N4G, that would put a stop to a lot of trolls/scammers and duplicate user accounts, IMO.

I really enjoyed Rising, it took a while but it definitely grew on me, and man that final boss fight is one to remember
The Boss is definitely one of the all time best game related female characters.
She actually gained a lot of popularity with gamers without needing to have huge breasts and a skimpy out fit, MGS3 went a long to proving not gamers are prepubescent morons.
I never had any problem with the platforming in GoW, it helps break up the combat and helps to stop it from getting tedious.
Sony's PS4 really has everything going for it right now, I just hope the games deleviver that much needed next gen feel.

The Nintendo direct last month already covered this.
Iwata stated there won't be any more Wii U games getting released till after a few months because they want them to be of a high standard, they are currently holding the release of Wii U games back back until Nintendo feel the games are ready for retail.
If that was the case I would have a Vita by now, a price cut isn't gong to make me any more interested in a console that isn't offering me anything Im interested in.
Right now at least anyway.
My point will always be, if my PC can have BC regardless of the architecture then so could the PS4 and I sincerely doubt the addition of BC would have effected the pricing of the PS4 in any significant way.
My PS3 died a while back and I still have a ton of PS3 games, it would be really convenient for me if the PS4 had BC, but no, if I want to play/finish any of my PS3 games I'll have to bet both a PS3 and a PS4, and well that just sucks, IMO.
When it comes to games software always sells the hardware, Im sure more people will buy a Vita now but Im still waiting for something that interests me to be released (or get localised)

That's a really interesting point.
It really is an awful merit/demerit system, many consumers don't want any extra hassle so would most likely just go through with the pre-order... I can honestly say I wasn't aware that kind of thing was going on, I just hope we don't have such activity happening in stores here in the UK.

I dont think BC has been left out of the PS4 because of the different architecture or for ease of development, it's been left out because the PS3 is old news.
We wont see many more PS3 games getting released once the PS4 hits shelves so naturally Sony want us buying PS4 games as apposed to second hand PS3 games that Sony wont see any revenue from.

You're opinions on the matter are moot because you are incredibly biased against Nintendo.
They have their place as both software and hardware developers, any genuine Nintendo fan doesn't mind buying a console from them because they know the games are worth it, any reasons you use to argue that Nintendo should limit themselves to software I could easily use on both Sony and MS.
