I plan to get a 3DS as soon as there's something worth buying one for, so far 3D remakes and games that just use 3D without it really adding much just haven't been that appealing to me.
Red faction 1 felt like it was taking the FPS franchise somewhere new making great use of the geo mod, It pretty much succeed at what it set out to do. RF-2 was too linear imo but it at least had the RF feel, Like you said Guerilla changed it all...

im not realy looking forward to over hyped generic shooter 3, People have preferences I guess but when the most populer franchises are all about shooting the crap out of everything and making sure it all looks and sounds as real as possible, Well It kinda seems a bit sick to me.
Im not saying Capcom shouldn't have made Ultimate MVC3 but they definitely should have made the additions available as DLC for those who purchased the original MVC3.

Like we need more ridiculous accusations made about "harmful video games" apparently not only do they make people kill each other but now they can kill you directly! Its just freer mongering. Id say what the media is doing is far worse than these childish jokes.

Exactly, On top of that what was there worth buying at launch? I had my chance to get one but made the wise choice to wait for the price to drop and get it when some good games come out.

Bet we wont be seeing much of a celebration, No matter how great Metroid is it hardly gets the recognition it deserves.
Its not depressing for everyone, For a lot of people there is plenty to be excited for, But if you're not a fan of Uncharted, Gears, MW, or Battlefield then yeah its pretty depressing, luckily there are still a few hidden gems and yet to be localised games coming our way to keep us occupied.
As soon as I read Bulletstorm is set on a resort designed for people to go around killing each other and racking up points on how they kill I thought Id give the game a pass, Gotta love schadenfreude.
