So true!
"running up that stupid walkway with the knights shooting arrows at you knocking you back like 5 feet ( and off the platform ) everytime."
I freaking hate that part of the game! lol, I died so many times I was honestly thinking "Do they seriously expect you to do this!" O.o
Nice tactic with cinder btw, wish I had thought of that.
I just maxed out my Knight Shield and made myself a LV 10 Flame Clay...
Dark Souls "isn't for everyone" sorry but its true.
I finished my 1st play through the other day, and found that (much like Demons Souls) the difficulty was blown way out of proportion.
I would love a post explaining "why in American games are characters with British accents always the "Bad guys"
It really bugged that in Tomb Raider anniversary they changed Natla's voice from a American, to a cliched evil Brit :/
As a Brit myself (that has almost absolutely no evil tendencies) I find the stereotype weirdly confusing.
Damn, beat me to it.
lol agreed. :P
I can definitely see where your coming from with this one.
Though having played a couple of games that have integrated HP consumption instead of using a traditional MP bar (Atelier Rorona being my most recent) I can safely say this does give a added sense of tension, seeing your HP (hit points) being taken up with each spell you cast can be a daunting thing when facing a powerful foe, especial when you're HP gets so low you can no longer cast a simple healing spell.
@Kyosuke_Sanada
Lol nice! XD
I didn't know about that, thanks for the heads up!
How anyone can call themselves a "RE fan" and actually enjoy the new direction the franchise is headed in, I don't know.
Damn, never thought of that lol. Well Capcom being as out of touch with the fanbase as they are, I can see that as being a huge possibility...
=Spoiler ahead!!!=
I think I upset the cat thing in the forest during my 1st play through, because it pretty much told me to Pi** off! lol xD
I'll have to give that PVP covenant a go this time round, I do hope they get that patch up soon though, sounds like a killer bug :/
I really want nothing to do with RE-ORC.
The last decent RE game I played was 4, 5 was a fun game but a RE game it was not.
I have no idea O.o
I don't think I could tell you all that's wrong with that statenent, lol! XD
Tonberry, the stuff of nightmares! lol
*stabbity death*
Thanks lol! but just finding the blacksmith that uses the flame embers was tough.
Only once, to the jailer boss in the undead asylum.
You can fall/jump off of the ledge above him and if you have a regular sword equipped (maybe other weapons work too but not greatswords, I found that out the hard way lol) you will impale him.
In the trailer you mentioned you see the Taurus demon boss on the bridge get impaled, I never did this because I only w...
GOTY imo ;D
Good luck slab hunting!
So true!
I just beat Drak Souls last night, Im dying to play new game+ lol ;D
double post :/
Just beat Dark Souls last night, clocked in at around the mid 70+ hours mark and still have a a couple of areas that need exploring, all in all a fantastic game worthy of GOTY imo =)
That said I think I may have enjoyed Demons Souls more (probably because the franchise novelty has worn off) and a few bosses were much too easy, though the others made up for that lol.
I'll see you all in new game+, and you world invaders can chew on my Flame Claymore+10 :p ...
Well the franchise damn well doesn't need to be any easier that's for sure O.o though I suspect the new battle system will add a degree of skill and challenge to the mix.
70+ hours is a big plus though, so hopefully the game makes up for any shortcomings with content.
One mans medicine is another mans poison I guess :/
I know, love that game ;D
Well I got half right... donno if to be proud or freaked out right now :/
