But surely the cheaters are pointing out the glitches the devs are suppose to fix right? Shouldn't DICE be thanking them instead of banning them? they wouldn't even know of the glitches existence if it wasn't for the Beta testers finding them.

The glitches are minor and not everyone has encountered them, like you say the game was intended to appeal to its "niche fanbase" so if some people don't like it they shouldn't be surprised.

Half finished games, game breaking bugs on release, pre release DLC, on disc content locked, rehashed repackaged games with very little innovation beyond the upgrade in graphics, Japanese devs attempting westernisation of well established franchises that fail because they stray to far from their original appeal, gimmicky controller/interface methods, a pick up and play attitude removing skill and depth in favor of accessibility for all.

They could have done what MS did with the 360 and made a set amount of the previous console games compatible every now and then, I think that would have been better than making the original PS3 console BC and every later version not.
Im fine with paying for PSone/PS2 games on PSN, but if I already own them I don't see why I shouldn't be able to play them on the PS3.

Exactly. When I finished Demons Souls it actualy felt like I beat the game because it was a challenge.
