Let me know when PS4 wins US sales again like how it used to. Americans probably got tired of Sony's half-delivered greatness.
I am not jumping the gun that a downgrade actually happened. The graphics still look fine, but the gameplay is what I play any game for. Double standards piss me off to no end, but again, not jumping the gun just yet.
I am playing this on PS4. What a game, all I can say about it. Sunset Overdrive or this will be my GOTY 2014.
@Cindy-rella: MS isn't in the business of losing money. They rake in heaping piles of 1,000 dollar bills pretty much every quarter of the year. Sony, on the contrary, has been flushing gold nuggets down the toilet the whole 201X decade so far.
See, for me it has very little to do with the character, it's just that I keep putting the game itself off. There's quite a bit of backlog on my part. More games of interest are releasing than what I can actually play. Add jRPGs to the mix and, well, you can guess haha.
I am buying DMC 4 as I have never played it before. DMC: Devil May Cry is a pass. Got that on PS+ for PS3 and haven't started it yet.
To be fair, Borderlands is pretty old, but if you're going to charge a significant price for it, it would make sense to bundle this with Borderlands 2, and the Pre-Sequel. But maybe that's asking for too much. Quick cash grabs is the norm for the new console generation.
They're afraid to. If it ended up sucking, you can guess what would happen.
They know how protective their fans are over the game. If they screw up with the remake, it will cost Square Enix a lot more reputation with their fans. FFXIII's reception was enough for them. There are plenty of people that like FFXIII but they aren't vocal about it.
This article isn't about globally, it's about the US and UK. PS4 used to crush the Xbox One in the US and UK. Whatever caused that to change...
Not jumping the gun on the idea of this game being canned, yet.
Ubisoft is indeed on top of the naughty list. As for nice, I gave that to Platinum. Bayonetta 2 comes with a free copy of the original game for Wii U. Companies rarely ever do that, but Nintendo probably also has a hand in that decision.
We need more developers like this that don't strive to make games that feel like movies. If I want a movie, I wouldn't want to pay $60 for one regardless of the quality.
EDIT: PS3 fanbase is quickly moving onto the PS4. If Far Cry 5 releases on PS3, it would sell even less on that platform.
Bigger crew normally means higher development costs.
I still play it every now and then. Besides Demon's Souls, it's actually my favorite game of the 7th generation. Got it since launch too. I am that much of a die hard.
Don't get your hopes too high. We will very likely never see another PS1/PS2 era of jRPGs again, ever. The genre took too much of a hit. The jRPG genre also depends on Square-Enix more than anything since it was SquareSoft that made this genre popular to begin with. If Final Fantasy XV will be anything like FFXIII in terms of fan reception, you can bet the genre will further be doomed to the otaku niche market.
Don't know where you come up with that argument. The console isn't selling at a huge loss, if any at all. Sales have skyrocket since the price drop, and if they increase it back to $400, sales will likely be much closer to where it was before.
If MS cares about console sales, they would just keep it at this price. It would be smart too as it does give it some competitive advantage over the PS4.
PC has way more exclusives than every game released on PS3, 360, and Wii combined. Most new console multiplats end up there as well, and they usually deliver a better experience on PC.
Yeah PC gamers aren't missing out much. Many PC gamers actually have at least a last-gen console for some odd exclusive, but not too many play on the console regularly.
More GameStops, Walmarts, Best Buys, and Targets are opening. At least where I live.
