This trend would likely go overboard and cause a market saturation if sales explode. This is straight up milking, especially at full retail price.
Whatever happened to people justifying the lack of backward compatibility, that they don't buy a next-gen console to play old games...
Hopefully the cheap shooters that plagued much of last generation. I look forward to playing the next enjoyable FPS.
If your internet connection is so unstable, then don't play any fighting game online be it on PC, PS4, Xbox, etc. It's that simple. Believe me, that wouldn't be any fun for you.

Some favorable commenting on an Xbox One article, something that does, indeed, happen on N4G.
EDIT same with this http://n4g.com/news/1487279...
Modern X86 processors are 64-bit, including the ones in the Xbox One.
8-year old hardware is 8-year old hardware. Xbox360 was powerful in 2005, but high-end PCs nowadays are capable of running more than one instance of a well-coded 360 emulator with perfect results, particularly an emulator made by the engineers at MS. Enthusiast emulators are often poorly optimized, especially when compared to in-house emulators.
Even if it is technically a gaming console, it's very poor implementation of one. Selling the controller separately is a bad idea if you expect this device to take off as a gaming console. The Fire TV has a chance to compete in the market of Roku and Apple TV, but for nothing else other than yet another entertainment box.
Which comes to mind, I really want that Vita TV.
Rather, too much PS3 backlog at the time (still have some backlog, but it got better). Now that I mostly game on PS4 and PC, I am really hoping for the PS4 version.
I didn't buy TLOU on PS3, nor have I even played it, so a PS4 version would be perfect for me.
Yes, I would. SE is definitely on the right track with BD.
I am looking forward to what Xbox One's future will be. Not interested in the console as of now, but it might shape up into an entirely different system than it is now, just like how the PS3 evolved drastically over the years.
Why would anyone drop 500 on a machine and not use it as a gaming system? It IS a game console. TV, sports, and all the other multimedia features are part of the Xbox One's ecosystem.
I am buying this on PS3 as well. I already have the original RO, and I'd prefer to play the new version on a superior platform.
Definitely buying this. Had loads of fun with this on the GameCube.
PS2 and GameCube had this as well.
He mentioned nothing about the materials. For all we know he might not be happy with how the controller is designed, how it is laid out or how it feels in his hands. Material-wise, my DS4 feels more durable than the DS3 and shows no signs of premature wear on any of my analogs, and it's the pack-in controller for my launch PS4. I love my DS4, but the Xbox One controller feels damn good in my hands as well. I'll buy one for my PC when I get around to it, or when I feel the need to do s...
If ND would pack in the Uncharted trilogy as well then that would be 4 games for one convenient price. Even better if Jak HD collection is added to the mix, then it would be 7 games. Some of the best $60 value in gaming history. If it's just TLoU for $60 then I will not buy it any time soon, just like I didn't bother with the TR Definitive Edition.
Not liking TR's idea of rehashing individual games at no less than full retail price. That would be straight up milki...
It's a timeless game for sure. It's a very, very difficult game to beat. You can say "it's nostalgia" all you want, but name a game from the 7th generation that is actually better than Zelda OoT in every important aspect.
2.0 should be the major update with some of the features that PS4 fans have been asking for. Though not always the case, major updates are usually branded with the next integer as its version. This is how Sony usually structured their update agenda for PSP, PS3, and PSVita.
It gets worse actually, there was an article submitted here on N4G the other day that suggests a console war between Xbox One and PS4 over remasters.
This generation is already going downhill.
