I hate the PC port and Rocksteady so much that I don't even want to download the free content. The entire Rocksteady team needs to work on the PC version and fix it. Not just those 12 people (shouldn't have been that small team handling such a huge game in the first place).
They say everyone will forget the 50 good things you do right...once you do "one" thing wrong. I spent hrs configuring settings to get it to work. Looking at forums and posting messages w...
It is lol
Depending on the company, some devs earn money after the game has reached a certain milestone (in sales) or has a high score from reviewers. Regardless, stealing shouldn't be promoted or used an excuse.
Good. Devs deserve their hard earned money.
Oh and btw, the port is working fine for me: gtx 980, 4770k cpu, 16gb ram and getting 60 fps with high/ultra settings
Make sure you download the drivers (they were just released yesterday or this morning for some). I already had them installed so I'm sure others missed the update. The game works completely fine.
I now understand why the PC version wasn't reviewed yet. AMD/Nvidia needed to fi...
Not only are 360 game BC on x1 but it's possible for xbox games as well (though it probably won't happen)! I really tip my hat off to MS.
It was revealed earlier that the emulator is running on W10.
So it could possible on PCs in the future (for both xbox and 360 games). MS really have outdone themselves.
I can't imagine what might have happened had the x1 been revealed with everything it has now (or the promise of these features) Everythi...
lmao...beneath the console!
I wouldn't say "never" because no one knows what's going to happen in the future.
Nintendo might actually make a console that competes with Sony/MS.
The VR headsets might not cost as much as people think.
We might be able cross play all (most) multi plat titles in the future
You never know... what does Sony have to lose by bringing them to PC? Players will buy them on "both" and PC gamers will get to enjoy the highe...
I usually get everything on PC but when my friends get a game that has MP/co-op in it on a console, I'll get it on that system (I have this gens and last gens consoles) so I can play with them because they either:
don't have a PC
have a good enough rig to run the run
find consoles more convenient
some had already bought it on a specific console
With this, we all get games together. So everyone can stay in their comfort zone or...
As I said in an earlier post:
Make hardware comparable (to x1/ps4) and easier to develop for.Fix the infrastructure and Online
Stop focusing on just local co-op, get with the times and add online (and the "option" for voice chat)
Get a mobile app for downloading games and whatnot straight to the console.
Upgrade the Miis to full blown avatars
Update the UI (faster, more functionality, party chat and etc).
Make the controller...
I can't stand when I see comment saying "What's the point of getting an x1 if all the games are coming to PC"?
So MS/consumers should just ignore the 10+ mill install base?
X1 is $400 and more consumer friendly than a PC (as in just plug and play..no hassle)
Almost all titles will support cross play (now I can play with my many friends who only have an X1)
The avg consumer does not have a PC ("most" gamers don't have a g...
Make hardware comparable (to x1/ps4) and easier to develop for. With the aforementioned features, 3rd party devs will make games for the NX. Fix the infrastructure and internet (online is terrible compared to the competition).
Stop focusing on just local co-op, get with the times and add online (and the "option" for voice chat...automatically have it off or parental controls behind it...either way those who have it on can just mute others). Get a mobile app for down...
It's expensive because of what it adds. That's why it's pro. Just like there are newer/expensive versions of washing machines, lawn mowers, TVs and etc. You could say the same thing about gaming keyboards/mouses as well. This controller is not made cheap.
Doubling the manufacturing price doesn't make since when it adds so much more and is made with better material (just like the products I mentioned above).
Here is a dev video of the controlle...
PC gamers are never going to get familiar with Star Ocean (console rpgs in general) if no one releases any on PC. As told by several devs, it's relatively easy to port X1/PS4 games to PC (they use the same architecture after all and almost every multi plat game gets released on PC) so that's really no excuse.
@Army of Darkness
It's being released on ps3 so it's a cross gen title (so the ps4 version is a port). I hardly doubt the X1 wouldn't be able...
All Arkham games ran fine on my PC. I'm sure this will run fine as well. Rocksteady, Naughty Dog, Rockstar and a few others are devs I trust with a day one release of a game. I'm sure any (most) hiccups are gone with the 3gb day one patch.
Note: according to Eurogamer, it runs smooth even without the patch!
World at War...better yet. They need to make a second one. Co-op campaign and maybe go through multiple wars and next gen only. Now that's a CoD I'd buy. *Sigh*, we can dream can't we.
Yep...I'll have this soon enough. Button mapping, improved shoulder buttons, swappable sticks/d-pad, profile switching, trigger sensitivity, more buttons (the paddles...which can also be mapped) and it's cheaper than a scuf controller of the same caliber. MS definitely made a pro controller. This, BC, lower price for X1, hololens, W10 and etc. They've been on a roll since Phil took over.
Note: this is not marketed toward the "avg" consumer, hence the &qu...
So why can't the Western version be released on 360/X1 or (at least) PC. You can't really expect the install base for rpgs to increase if no one releases games for it and during the survey, almost all the users and a ps4 so of course that was going to happen.
Well dang it, why no English voice actors? I really don't like subtitles for anything because instead of being focused on the screen (animations, surroundings, facial expressions and etc) I'm forced to look down and read what everyone is saying...I can't be immersed in the game if I'm looking at the bottom of the screen most of the time.
They need to implement it (it may be added in later though but at launch would be better). Even if the campaign is reduced to 30 fps, it's playing with the other person beside you that really matters. I'm sure everyone would rather have that alternative than to not have local co-op at all.
Online or local co-op would have been fun. Oh well, another missed opportunity.
