I guess the guys at Forbes must not like CoD, Skyrim, NBA 2K, Mario games, Dying Light, Street Fighter.....
Is it me or do all these titles I listed have repetitive elements in them? EVERY game has a core mechanic that you do over and over.
All that open world side stuff isn't required, you could just do the main story. I've been doing just about every optional objective in Batman, MGS, and TW3. Idk, games are really fun!
Halo MCC has that title hands down. 5 games, all MP maps, spec ops and revamped graphics for the older games (which you can switch on the fly). Even with it's broken MP at launch (which is fine now for me and most people) it's still the best RE collection so far.
Hands down one of the BEST side scrolling beat em up games ever! And I get it for free. I definitely encourage everyone to grab it, especially if you've never heard of it.
I wonder if the X1 will ever implement their support for 8 controllers on one console. Side scrollers would be a very good use of the feature.
It's about time. I held off on playing the game (I was one of the few that couldn't get a refund since my brother bought and played it for over 3 hrs).
This should have never happened and it's sad that steam refunds may be the reason the game was truly pulled back and fixed. If it's gotten to the point that steam refunds regulates whether a publisher will release a functioning product makes wonder about how much they care about their product and the devs worki...
Is any game worth my time? Has it gotten to the point where we're asking redundant questions.
The game offers the closest full on Batman experience yet. So yes, it's definitely worth my time (and anyone else who likes this character/genre).
The Ezio trilogy had a good balance imo. There were serious parts but very loving and funny scenes as well (due to his character nature). To date, he's really the only protagonist I've actually cared for or had an interest. The other main characters just seem so forced to me.
I don't see why they had such low expectations.
Most people bought/have the PCH-1000 Vita.
Everyone has wanted the L2/R2 since the PSP.
But I really hope they make it, instant buy for me!
It's literally gotten to the point where I expect a bad PC port and I get surprised when it's a proper PC port.
Another PC port I'll be skipping (or at least waiting until those features are implemented into the game).
So you're comparing online connectivity from about 10 yrs ago to now? Really. I just feel like you're trolling, then I'd be the idiot for falling for it *sigh*
But it's not the best it can be because it doesn't include SS. A feature every other Halo has. I'm all for 1080@60 but if I had the choice to make SS play possible at 1080@30 (like what Borderlands did) or 900@60, I'd rather have that.
1080@60 is indeed nice and a good standard but should it come at the price of the removal of some of our favorite features and experiences?
I'm still getting Halo 5 but I'm not as excited as I was before...
I'm sure many of us would have rather had that than replacement touchscreen inputs. Those would have worked better as extra inputs instead.
Even the New 3DS added 2 shoulder buttons. Alas, this will be the only way we'll be able to get an l2/r2 button.
I always wondered why Sony didn't include an L2/R2 button in the 1st place. Either way, make it happen people! Retweet!
What I want to know is. Wil it still have the same control scheme/mechanics or will they upgrade that to match U2/U3 as well. I hope they will. The collection looks beautiful.
@nowitzki2004
The Order looks surreal, I never implied that it doesn't (and if I did that's my bad). What I'm saying is keeping this graphical fidelity with an jrpg (which are generally open world) would be a mind blowing accomplishment indeed.
Rendering more than those closed corridors cost a lot of power. That's another reason why I adore the work put into TW3. That's something that's incredibly hard to pull off.
That would be near impossible at the moment. The Order was only able to obtain that graphical fidelity due to it's linear fashion and small corridors.
Though when a jrpg does pull this off in the future, it will look mid blowing.
PC release? I wouldn't mind getting this on PC.
Definitely one of the best shooters I've played in yrs. The series in slept on by a few (though their sales were good) so get this while you can.
"On Xbox, it might allow me to do things like have the soft chatters that I have on PC which I didn't originally enable when I started to port to Xbox mainly because it was cut out due to performance, but it performs pretty well."
DX12 will not only allow FPS increase (around 20% depending on the game so keep that in mind) but they'll be able to turn on features that would otherwise be off due to a decrease in performance.
So things like Hai...
But MGSV is coming to last gen... So all this was already possible. This really ian't anything new or next gen. Now the cloud computing for Crackdown 3 is next gen.
I hope they go for a more traditional co-op method. Me and my friend spent hours trying to connect to each other with the bells and we got it to work but only in certain areas. Hopefully it's less painful and easier (and explained more).
