The Playstation 3 is my favorite console of all time. Free online, Backwards Compatibility with PS2 games, ton of exclusive games and it also played blu ray movies. I can't express the amount of fun me and my family have had with this system.

I've been enjoying it here and there but there's just too lil to do compared to an actual Pokemon game you know?
No peer battles, few items, battle system is basic, no trading, no chatting etc. I need some features to grab me and keep me in the game.
Now this is something I'd spend my time on. Pokemon Go offers the bare minimum of the pokemon experience. Give a about a yr until they implement some worthwhile features from the games.
Because we've seen 80% of the game, 80% of the enemies and 80% of the locations. Judging a HUGE rpg game off a demo (less than 10% of the full game), tech demo and a couple videos lets us know its 80% hunting. Even when stated that there'll be fishing, swimming, car rides and air ship battles.
You're already saying you want more fearsome enemies yet we haven't even seen 20% of the game. Just wait till it comes out and see what happens.

Why? This is no different (if true) than upgrading from a ps3 to ps4. It's still PnP. You keep all your friends, games, exclusives, services and etc. You're just getting a more powerful console.
The only thing missing is an upgrade system. Pay $100-$200 to upgrade doesn't sound too bad (if the price the $400-$450). MS has stated they'd do something similar (although MS brought up the idea first).

That's normal. I kept my M1A Sniper Rifle (lvl 5) until I finally got another one around lvl 12! You just have to do those side missions and the main missions (on hard difficulty) to get any real equipment/weapons outside of the DZ of course.

MS are trying to do what Apple and Steam have done. Have a store controlled by them. Not saying it's necessarily right but if it is open source and doesn't block certain features then everything should be good.

As I said before, MS need to ensure a few consumer friendly requirements are meet before this can happen. Switching out our old console (for about $100-$150), make sure it's BC (if it's running off the same hardware then I'm sure it'd be) and cross save.
People are acting like they might be going a complete PC route (in which you configure, update drivers, take apart everything yourself). The way I see it, you'd be getting another X1 but just stronger.

There are a lot of ways this could work. Mainly if I'm able to trade in my old console and upgrade for about $100-$150 and it's BC.
That way you keep your games/saves, your console is more powerful and you still keep the PnP aspect. There's no downside if these (or similar requirements) are meet.

I tried it with and without both. It didn't change my performance. The fps was still inconsistent.
I have a 908gtx, 4770k cpu, 16gm ram. I have pure hair off and all settings on high (all filtering at 2x though) and I still have frame drops when entering different areas. The crazy part is, it'll be a solid 60 then out of nowhere (in the same area) it drops. It's very inconsistent and random.

Staying online, hosting, surfing the internet quickly, multiple users on your modem all require a somewhat strong connection. Overtime, the requirements have been lowered drastically. If I recall, MS are targeting a pretty standard bandwidth for cloud gaming.
