I feel like if we ever get to the point as a species where we create weaponized spacecraft we will 100% create artificial pew-pew sounds for no better reason than aesthetics.
“Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you.”
― Friedrich Nietzsche
If the make the protagonist Magni (one of Thor's sons) it would be a direct nod to Kratos. Both Magni and Kratos are the sons of lightning-wielding sky gods, and both of their names translate to 'strength' in English.
I would love for us to be able to play either or both of Thor's sons. Mothi is the other son (his name means valor), and he was a patron of berserker fury. Magni was a god of strength, and as a small child was able to lift Mjolnir (something ev...
Despite Darksouls III benefitting from Bloodborne's lessons-learned, they feel like very different games to me. I felt more powerful from the start with Bloodborne. Bloodborne's combat is relentless, and the best defense is an overwhelming offense. Dark Souls III goes back to the deliberate give-and-take the 'Souls games are known for. I've put hundreds of hours into all of the various incarnations of the 'Souls series (including Bloodborne) and Dark Souls III still mana...
They pretty much are digital barbie dolls. The models and textures aren't anatomically correct. There are no nipples or genitals under there 'cloths'. I'm not telling anyone what to like, but I do not understand these games (the gameplay of which is supposedly bad). At least the fighting games have some mediocre mechanics to screw around with. There is literally an internet full of porn to enjoy, and even straight-up pornographic games and game mods. Why would someone want to ...
The whole argument is ridiculous and anatomically improbable. The vagina is an internal organ. A female's external genitalia are collectively known in English as the vulva. Extremely provocatively cut shorts/undergarments may reveal some sort of side exposure of vulva, but unless the character has been sliced in half down the middle (bilaterally), you aren't likely to see any side-vag.
Amazon.com seems to be out of them now (I got one within the first minute they went live),
There seemed to either be more of them available this time, or the pre-ordering wasn't as frenzied as it was for the bundle. At least that's my unscientific observation?
Amazon.com charges you when your order ships.
I think most people would accept the initial point the universe is expanding out from as the center of the universe. Though that center is pretty pointless for the purposes of exploration, since I imagine that the 'location' of the big bang's initial expansion is possibly the most vacant of matter and energy (having expanded outward from it long ago).
That is supposing that one isn't equipped with physics-breaking technology, which you almost certainly have. Since your ship is almost certainly FTL capable, there is no reason to expect that the handwavium the FTL drive is comprised off won't protect you from a giant gravity well. Not only that, but if you are travelling at FTL speeds it is safe to assume that one has an FTL-capable sensor suite as well. The only reason that you should be swallowed by a black hole is if that is in fa...
$399 (plus tax) is all I need to pay for Playstation VR. I already have all the other requisite peripherals, and I'm glad that I won't be forced to buy unneeded duplicates. I just hope I am near a computer (or phone) when the NA pre-orders become available. I recently tried a the Samsung GearVR, and it did more to sell me on VR than anything prior. If the quality of my experience using a cell phone was that good, I can't wait to get my hands on dedicated hardware.
I'm glad I grabbed the free PC version. It's a great game, but I can't spend money on it in good conscience because Orson Scott Card is a reprehensible cave troll.
Please get some perspective. Those aren't examples of good stories. They may arguably be a few of the less terrible stories, but they are still pretty awful.
Well you are mostly correct. However, Tekken's story line is just as nonsensical as the rest of the fighting game genre.
The only story setup any fighting game has ever needed (or should have) is: Somebody is holding a tournament, and this is what happened.
I hope the combat mechanics are deep and nuanced. Where is the modern reboot of Bushido Blade?
I hope this game is enough of a success that we see several competing games like it come out. I think the world is ready for a big budget Bushido Blade reboot. I absolutely adored that game. Not only did it have an array of guard stances, but you even controlled the position of your center of gravity (it had an amazing amount of technical depth for a PSOne game). I tried to love the second BB and the Kengo games, but they all paled in comparison to the original.
For Honor ...
I really enjoyed Dragon's Dogma (and Dark Arisen) on the PS3, in spite of its buggy issues. If this PC version is relatively easy to mod for, and the community gets behind it, I could see it turning into something really great.
I'm just not sure how Capcom views the modding of their games. Do they support it (or at least tolerate it), or do they try to make their games a tiresome chore to modify?
I guess we finally know who taught Jinpachi to throw those annoying-ass fireballs.
I am sure Asuka is in the game, and she has an improved version of Jun's move-set anyway.
Netherrealm continues their trend of using half-melted Barbie dolls as character models because no one working there has apparently ever actually seen a human woman.
