Fact: Moose kill more people than bears, big cats, and wolves combined.
I hope they don't carry over the awful loot system from two. I hated that the unique weapons were very quickly relegated to uselessness by the random loot.
I also hope that Fury isn't just another flat character with nothing but sass and snark. Make her casually competent like Furiosa from the recent Mad Max film.
I think that a reboot of Onimusha would be a better way to go (considering how long it has been since the last one).
I want to see real, discernibly different builds. It doesn't have to crib entirely from Dark Souls, but I want an Arcane or Bloodtinge build to play much differently than a Strength or a Skill build.
I would also like to see more fleshed-out beasthood transformations. For example, I think it would be amazing for each Covenant to have a unique beast-mode transformation with their own strengths and weaknesses.
I adore every one of the SoulsBorne games, and I still consider the first Dark Souls to be objectively the best combination of design, atmosphere, and gameplay. Demon's Souls will always be my first love, but it is showing it's age.
I would love to see From explore other settings with their SoulsBorne formula. We don't need to keep coming back to the same well(s) for inspiration. What would an unholy marriage of Armored Core and the Souls mechanics be like? What would an exploration of Hindu/South Asian mythology look like through Miyazaki's twisted vision?
Armored Souls
Destiny 2 is going to be a hard sell for me. I enjoyed some of what Destiny and then The Taken King had to offer, but a lot of that was wishful thinking combined with fun playing online with friends. There are lots of games I can play with friends nowadays, and many of them are sci-fi action/shooters. Destiny 2 needs to bring something big to the table to justify its existence. Of course, YMMV.
I know it's hard when mommy and daddy decide they don't want to be married anymore, but the world doesn't actually end, and maybe they will be happier people living separate lives.
Here is the most important point, which you all need to understand.
It's not your fault.
No matter what happens, mommy and daddy still love you. Things will be different going forward, but they still love you.
That will never change.
Now close your e...

It's difficult for a person, like myself, who has very little daily gaming time to justify playing the story mode when the character leveling is separate from the multiplayer. Also, the single-player modes will still be there when the population of the multi-player modes starts thinning out.
I think the outrage over this is pretty overblown. It won't effect my decision to buy the game one way or the other. The alpha gameplay bought a lot of goodwill from me, and I'm looking forward to seeing what they improved in the beta.
I'm actually disappointed by this news. I was holding out for Kratos to just be a bridge character to lend a sense on continuity (and perhaps motivation) to a new protagonist and pantheon of gods to murder.
Haven't you been paying attention? Half the American voting populace openly embraces bigotry. Now minority CITIZENS are in fear for their lives. Hate groups are so emboldened that there have been pretty much nonstop instances of violence perpetrated against our own CITIZENRY since the election. Calls for peace, love, common sense, and understanding are nothing but pointless platitudes. You don't stop fascists with hugs.
Stop pre-ordering their games. Wait until reviews have gone up before you purchase the game. If enough consumers do this, they will reverse this move.
This one is easy. They can sell their IP to a company that gives a fuck.
This game was surprisingly great. It was very polished for an alpha build, and it's one of very few multiplayer focused games to get its hooks into me. This alpha was a real success for Ubisoft, because I'm having a hard time thinking about anything other than wanting to play more of it.
What do you mean by a proper training mode? You could play the training session with any of the available characters and keep practicing until you got bored or felt familiar enough. I'm sure there will be a deeper training option in the final game, and it will probably help you learn combos and advanced techniques.
Yay! I know we were all champing at the bit to play a washed-up little bitch of an over-hyped MMA fighter in a FPS game. You keep doing you, Activision.
I would rather play a gritty reboot of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
