Breath of the Wild is returning to what the series established in the very first game, exploration and puzzle solving, just with some modern concepts thrown in. All Zelda games have puzzle solving but none have had complete freedom of exploration since the first game 30 years ago. I fail to see how BotW will divide Zelda fans, it is staying true to the core of what makes a Zelda game a Zelda game, though I will miss the motion controls from Skyward Sword. I honestly think this article was wri...
People who want deep, in-depth gameplay are the minority in the gaming industry. It's sad but true.
Adding more pokemon and new features over time will keep most people interested. Why do you think the mainline pokemon games are still going strong after 20 years?
What if Nintendo blows everyone away with the NX reveal? The NX reveal is Nintendo's real E3, they know they have to go guns blazing and I think they'll deliver. Anyone who has been paying close attention to Nintendo's actions the last 2 years knows Nintendo knows what they need to do.
There will be mini bosses popping up randomly all throughout the overworld and larger enemy encampments. I fully expect there to be pockets where you won't run into any enemies but even in those pockets there will more than likely be treasure chests to find to occupy your time. Anyone who thinks there will be HUGE areas of NOTHING to do really aren't putting enough thought into it.
Thank you for being mature in your response.
This is one of the most absurd 'articles' I've ever seen on this site, and that's really saying something. Everyone knows Pokemon is almost as iconic as Mario and the author of this 'article' just wants some of that brand recognition on the other consoles. It's not going to happen.
You underestimate the lasting appeal of the franchise to so many people. I personally have never been into it but there are millions of others who are.
The Gamepad just needs to be slimmed down with scrolling shoulder buttons.
What is the matter with you? There is something seriously wrong with you.
The fact that you didn't even acknowledge you're mistake shows it wasn't a mistake. You knew there were faster memory cards out there but didn't want to advertise that. You just wanted to spread misinformation and hope no one would notice and call you out on it.
By your logic then sony had the stupidest e3 presentation. Tell me, do you truly think anything sony showed will be a better GAME than Zelda? I'm not talking graphics, I'm talking actual gameplay, because nothing sony showed looked like it will be a better game than Zelda.
Just from the very, very small sample that was shown it's clear this game is going to have A LOT of fun and interesting gameplay mechanics. If you disagree it makes me wonder why you would even play video games in the first place.
Mark up on sd cards is astronomically high. Do you honestly think manufacturing those tiny little chips costs $10 each? There's absolutely no way. Cost to manufacture memory these days is next to nothing.
You need to research the read speeds of sd cards. They have some now with read speeds of 270 MB/s. Just Google micro sd cards 270 MB/s read speed. 100 MB/s is not the high end anymore.
Everything Pokemon related is owned evenly between Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures. Meaning obviously that Nintendo gets a third of whatever Pokemon brings in.
I never knew about those exploits in Wario Stadium or Rainbow Road until youtube became a thing.
The only thing I posted that at this point is mere speculation is the possibility of time travel. Everything else has been confirmed. In regards to you saying there's nothing spectacular about the monsters. What do you expect? It's the very beginning of the game, of course the monsters are going to be easy starting out to get you accustomed to the controls. I think it shows a lot of promise that the one mini boss in the demo can take off three hearts in one hit. If what is assuredly o...
