The problem(s) with DI imho you spend majority of your time with gopher missions. Deep Silver rushed it out probably ignoring pleas of their QA team. So this resulted in bugs, glitches and etc.

Nope just that Valve went to Xi3 with plans of making the Steambox. After Valve started talking about the Steambox, Xi3 showed off this overpriced micro-console which led many people to believe it was the Steambox. Valve shot that rumor down and distance themselves from Xi3.

I do have to agree there really isn't any internal competition. It would be cool if Microsoft said "Buy your copy on our console its only $55". While Sony shouted about their prices being $50 and Nintendo $45. I doubt we would ever see that day.
While the numbers are pretty doubtful its pretty obvious that publishers don't get $60 and are still losing money due to middleman fees. Also part of reason why some publishers and developers said in the past that digital was better format than physical.
While digital is on the rise, console still rely on physical format for most of its sales. The physical format is probably the sole reason why price drop couldn't happen. Also probably the sole reason why console will never be like Steam.

I have to say its Battlefield 4 rather than TitanFall. TitanFall is more sci-fi with mechs. Battlefield 4 fits the "war themes and violence" profile more than TitanFall.

The company waited to release the Ouya by the time it was released the hype for it had died. Not to mention the hardware inside of it had already became dated.
Given that new consoles is on the rise I don't see Ouya actually picking. Their main source of income(Indies) will move on to the PS4 and X1.
If Ouya Inc want to survive their best bet would be to sell themselves to a company like Nvidia or Google.

Given that XBLG is required for online gaming its not surprising that the DVR functions will required XBLG.
Microsoft is trying to make XBLG alluring as possible. Sony offer similar functionality for free because they want to attract as many gamers to the PS4 as possible. At the end of the day its just business.
