I don't think MS will release a non-kinect Xbox One variant this year. More than likely they will wait till after the Xbox One is release and then offer a $399 X1. They will probably announce it at next years E3 or after the X1(with kinect) sales reached a decent number.
Not just gamestop almost everywhere else you go to the Xenoblade is expensive. But not including shrinkwrap just to sell the game used to justify the price is pretty damn greedy.

Yep so MS might as well offer a Xbox One variant without Kinect include for a cheaper price.
For the people who preorder the Xbox One with the Kinect just give them 3 or 6months of XBLG or some credit they could use to buy things on XBL marketplace.

The person behind the spambots will just modify their comments so that the system doesn't detect them. I already seen it happen on other sites. For instance they might use symbols instead of letters, space out the website name or instead saying .com they might say dotcom.

I don't think Sony should just throw in the towel just yet. They could still issue a price cut and things could turn around for them. Just look at Nintendo and the 3DS. Things turn around for them after the price cut and more games.
Sadly todays industry really could care less about academically-minded discussion. Most prefer to stick to the K.I.S.S(Keep it simple, stupid) method. I highly doubt most gamer would care to listen to Mark Cerny full in depth lecture on the architect in the PS4. They rather know is it stronger than it's competitors and how strong.

Just because the WiiU is selling poorly it doesn't means its dead. It would become dead if Nintendo throws in the towel and say they're ending support for it.

These three things is what causing it to fail. Sony need to issue a price cut. Something between $149-$179 price range. Once a decent price cut is issued, hardware sales are likely to pick up. Once that happen more publishers will be willing to make games for it or port games to it.

Kinect features for conversations isn't necessary. While it seems cool but honestly it that will just take more time programming NPCs to understand/respond to certain words. Even if there's some loud noise or kids running through the house it can be problematic.
You will be waiting till the apocalypse so long as the smartphone market exist mobile gaming will exist.
Android and iOS games are cheap compared to your average handheld exclusives. Unless Nintendo, Sony and publishers are willing to drop their prices so to compete with Android and iOS games, I doubt exclusives will ever draw the attention away from mobile games.
If Sony and Nintendo are smart they will make their next handheld Android compatible. I don't mean bring their exclusive to the mobile front. What I mean create a device that only not cater to their hardcore crowd but also mobile gaming casual crowd. There exclusives could still be on cartridges or cards and wouldn't have to be in the Play Store to function.

Well the time for a price cut on the Vita and its memory card is long overdue. Well at $200 the sales for the Vita might pick up but they won't stay up for long. Somewhere in the $149-$179 range would be the sweet spot imho.

I used to have Mugen on my old pc. Character file/data could be easily modified. I download this SS7 version of Goku who couldn't die. I know MUGEN pissed off a lot of companies seeing as you could used their paid assets(characters, musics and stages) in the game.
Its a good thing the money don't hold any value.
