Sorry it doesn't work like that. Main Artist or not the beats are still his. He own the rights to it. In order to use something that yours you need permission and usually the owner will want payment exchange for permission regardless of their popularity or infamy.
Well I'm pretty sure he just want more money for the beats that was used in the game without his permission.
Obviously R* isn't going to recall their game. Even if the issue a patch to remove the beat it was still used without the owner's permission.

For certain genre like FPS and maybe TPS I could agree but for other genre you definitely can see a unique difference.
For instance Fable, Elder Scrolls and The Witcher. While the matter of gameplay can be debated, the style about each of them are quite different and it stands outs clearly.

I highly doubt the more companies in the gaming business means lower quality in games or you get out of developers.

This case overall is entirely different than what happen with EA. 360 and PS3 audience isn't getting a complete edition of the Deus franchise, while WiiU is only getting a one Deus Ex game.

Updating an android console would be pointless unlike phone or tablet. Most of the features in an android update wouldn't benefit a device that's made for android gaming(I can't believe I just typed that).
