I feel bad for any game that goes head to head with this game at the 2010 GOTY awards. Let Bots talk about sells figures all they want. Their system does not own one game of the year award period. I do not ever see a DVD format winning one either. No hate, just a fact.

MGS4 had 1.4 million day one. This back when the PS3 was still $499 and $599. So yeah, like twice the cost of an Xbox dvd player. Think if the PS3 was $299 back in 2008. Yeah... since sells figures are all some have to go off of here. Because we know when it comes to the "actual" games themselves. Which console is just owning the market in " quality " over the other games sells " quantity ".

LOL, nice opinion. You mean MGS4 is for the more mature pro type gamer. While Halo is for the kids still. Either way, thanks for your "opinion" as I see it totally different. If a game can sell 1.4 million on day one with a console that was twice the price of the Xbox. I think it's pretty clear.
You can even look on Craigslist for good deals. Many times there are new ones still in the box for $20,$30 less. Or many other times someone needs to sell their's that is near new because they fell short of cash for rent, etc. So they take a huge loss to sell fast.
Think about this. There are far more kid gamers who like generic action shooters like Halo than say GOW3. Plus, think about how many parents don't want they're 10,12,13 year old playing something like GOW3 ( strong graphic epic violence, nudity, language ). Where we know Halo has some violence with shooting up some aliens. But it is absolutely not even on the same scale as GOW3 is. So for the most part. GOW3 sells are all hardcore gamers. Another thing, I do not ever see one Halo game ever b...
Just think if MGS4 came out when the PS3 was $299. It would have been Halo sells figure's day one.
They could give it away for free really and it would not matter. No Blu-ray, no this, no that. no GOW, no MGS4, no UnCharted's, no GT5, no MLB The Show, etc,etc,etc. It's basically becoming more and more a lower form of kids gaming console. You get what you pay for.

Have you played that game? I take it you have not. That game is totally bad ass period! I came in here to post of that I'm sick of seeing reviewers knocking that game. The game is VERY well done. I like everyone else started playing GOW3 yesterday. As far as graphic's and game play. There's is NO difference of better from either. The cut scene's are more epic in GOW3, that's for sure. Think of it like this. Why would I want something that could be made epic and could on'y fit on a Blu-ray disc. Rather than something that could fit on a DVD. Something that was cut up, parts left out, downgraded graphic code, etc, etc. It's a no brainier nowadays that blu-ray exclusive games are top of the line when a huge budget is behind it. Just got the Plat trophy for this yesterday. This game is damn good. Never take a review score as fact. Play this game and I bet you too will be greatly surprised on just how good it really is. Great story, awesome graphic's, the fight system with it's combo's and magic. Awesome boss battles, vast Hell enviroments and free DLC games as well.
This is such great news! Glad it was approved. Such great insight.. ( roll eyes )... These types of stories most times come along when a huge PS3 title is about to come out ( cough GOW3 ). So those Xbox owners who can't afford the PS3 rage and need to vent. So they write up a little cry more story like this... cry more?

DI is very awesome. It doesn't give you the up and close gore of GOW. But it too is on the same scale of great well done games for sure. That and with the huge DLC package coming for DI. Which also has online. The replay value just made this game better then GOW3. Where you will have some DLC as stated. But it will be stuff that was already done for GOW3. They just left it out for now. But still, no online and never will be for GOW3.
