You might want to give MGS4 far more credit next time in your posts. It raised PS3 sells up 4002% at a time when the console was still $699 and $599. It was sold out everywhere. Even the great UC2 didn't even come close and it had a $299 console price advantage. Just saying..... :)
Sorry, I'll be deep into GOW3, BFBC2, some Heavy Rain and it's 23 different endings and some UC2 online. Got no time for the worlds most hacked cheater online game.
If someone thinks any game this year is going to touch GOW3. You have seriously been living under a rock. I would suggest getting out more and watching some reviews over on GT. That and try and get to the demo out. It's hard to put into words what this game not only looks like, but plays like. It's going to be one hellva mind blowing experience. Yep, in many cases. A reviewers scores does not reflect the feeling of the masses. This being one of those cases. This game is well above the bar of anything COD has ever put out. That alone speaks volumes. So some dude reviewing it is not going to change my mind as to what I've seen and played thus far in the demo.
Sure would like to see the video. But that link sends me to the wrong video. It's showing some spoof of BFBC2 with dancing soldiers... sigh.
Looking at other's comments on that site. They are getting the same wrong video as well.

wow, there's a surprise....
Good write up. Even though MGS4 came out before KZ2. So it set the standard for everyone else. It showed the world what the PS3 could do. It's simply the best gaming console out there. It proves itself time and time again. Oh and where's LBP in your story? That too set the bar for what it did.
Blu-ray + cell = total win for all.
They made a blu-ray version for a reason. To make it look the best it can todate. Something MS still holds back with it's console DVD drive of choice.
See, been saying it all along.... Blu-ray and a highly built machine = long life span. The console is just an epic win all around.
The key word here is " first party ". ND is owned by Sony. Where MGS4 is Kojima who is a 3rd party company. Yes, as far as exclusives to the PS3 go, MGS4 is still number 1. I think UC2 is number 3 after GT5 P.

Totally, I'm a father as well. Been one for a LONG time. I think the OP should have never put this new game up against something that has proven to be the elite over the last decade. More so when both stories have little to nothing to do with each other. He could have simply said it's a truly emotional, touching game period. But hey, if I wanted flamed bait catching posts. Why not aim at the top.
The story is so long and complex. Yet he had to fit it on just one Blu-ray. The mission of the game was the answer most of the questioned that were left out there over the last 11 years of the story. Even then, true MGS fans still had questions. The story could never really end as it is based off DNA genetic coding. Clearly by this post. You have no idea about MGS...fact. I suggest you watch some cut scenes over the last 11 years games at least. ( MGS 1,2,3 and 4 ). It's based off real world theory.

exactly.... we all see so many games that pretty much run the same style of game play. Trust me, you will like Dante's. Rent it for a week then come back and post about it. I was surprised how good it looked and well it played. I'm in the middle of the game now. Just waiting for the PS3 clock bug to be fixed :(
