It's still odd to see Xbox console owners still today no facing the true facts. Something I as a gamer just never understand. The story here was clear. Even with the nice PR work that was added to smooth it over ( for sales ). If you really think you are getting the full potential of today's games on a DVD player. You are sadly in denial.

Ummm, you missed the point. Not surprised. Format won this battle. If the PS3 had a DVD drive and it's cell. Would it have mattered? Of course it would. It too would have still took just as many DVD's to hold this very large game. I'd suggest you read the story in here about Lost Planet 2 and how Capcom had to cut it up to fit on a DVD. This has zero to do with processing. If you know both consoles that is. I don't get that you do.
This game was made of the PS3. The USA would have gotten it already if not for the port down to the Xbox. In trying to not have 6 DVD's. The quality looks to have gone way down to keep it at 3 DVD's. This is a fine example of when they said MGS4/UC2/KZ2,etc is not possible on the Xbox. They too would come out looking like a PS2 game when all said and done.
Oh! This will not end well... lol. Sad part is. It has zero to do with PS3 Vs Xbox. But more like Blu-ray Vs DVD. You want to play in the past. Then expect the pasts line of quality. Been saying it for a long time. There is a reason why Blu-rays look better, have more room, etc. This game was made for the PS3 and like other top exclusives. They all shine with super clean graphic's. So no one should take these results personal. Just a sign of the times.
Why would anybody enter the worlds most cheated online game. Well, next to any COD game that is, lol... I gave up after 1200 hours leaving my 2 high "legit" non boosted player's just sitting. Couldn't take all the lag switch player's. MGO "was" hella fun for about the first 6 months. Then came more glitcher's and lag cheaters than legit player's. The Survival and Tourney's were and still are nothing but cheater's.
They need damn maps more than anything. I had to stop playing because I couldn't take no more. Over 900 Co-Op matches alone on the same few maps. It became so pointless I mean 90,000 kills and 1300 deaths. Of those 1300 deaths, I'd say easily 300+ due to team killers. But a 67.0 K/D ratio for the past 5 months.
It's more like EA, just STFU and make some decent games. Everywhere you read on how Sony is in the black now. The PS3 is selling damn good and catching that number two guy. Hell, we still have the great month of March games set to come out. A few bundles with that. Boom, another record setting month in sells. The economy is not doing as bad as everyone reports. Games have been around 40 years. They are not go a way anytime soon. They'll be fine and press on.
I'd like to think this. But man are we seeing some bad reviews and comments about this game. With all the changes and straight line game play. I'm seeing nothing but hate coming from FF long time player's. But we'll see...
Apparently you missed the part where he talked about sells this fiscal year. Which means the story is talking about the best selling PS3 exclusive game is still selling strong. But way to make more out of it than ever needed to be.

Pootangpie, please just go back to your main account. You clearly have zero idea about the game at all. Because if you did, you'd seen the very high remarks the game got in the graphic's area. I mean the games only been out 2 years now and this information is way old. This game is still the PS3's flagship game.
MGS = Snakes period. This spin is not going to do well at all. Just watch as I've been DEEP into this game since 1998. People see it for what it is already and it's not even out yet. Bring back Snakes, or let it fail beyond belief. This is just like having Batman and Robin. Only take out Batman and leave Robin in... you think people will like that Kojima?
Because people are cheap plain and simple. They would rather rent it for a week. Beat it and return it. Or wait until they can hack them all like the Xbox kids did. But the main reason is renting. Most find no replay value in games with spending $60 to do so. Then the trade in value is BS at Gamestop's and Game Crazy's. So why ever buy...

The skins are cool. But they make no sounds at all. I'd rather have maps over skins. Because if these skins are like all other upgraded skins. You can only use these in Multi player and not Co-Op ( which is what I mainly play ). So the game really needs maps more than anything else. I've slowed WAY down from playing seeing that I have over 900 Co-Op matches played on those same what 6 maps, lol... I've even beatin Co-Op games by myself. That's how down I have this game.
Can you list all the GOTY games on your console please... we'll wait.
Never to late to get on the bandwagon... He's probably tired of trying to get his games to fit on a single DVD.
