Why cant MS just compete with EA for Take2, would benefit the Xbox 360 system more than Yahoo would benefit Microsoft's business.
get one of them, Red Faction Guirella was announced a while back :)
have as the above comment states, always used in-game for trailers etc and have never really shown their games off too much before release.
Also a secret ending to Dirge of Cerberus that hints at a sequel to that.
While a remake would really sweet, wouldnt rule out an rpg set after Dirge of Cerberus either.
When I first saw Crisis Cores secret ending I thought "zomgz remake" too til I thought about it. It simply could be for players who have yet to play final fantasy vii, telling them to go grab a copy to play it and continue the story.
I think if there was a remake to VII, ...
I got it when it came out and I haven't had any problems with mine. Maybe its batch-wide like the problems with Halo 3 :s
Looks pretty sweet :)
nothing concrete to back up this sites story.
If history were to be believed, the next Xbox would be due xmas 2010, at the earliest.
But consoles are more advanced this time around, I can't see the typical 5-year span sticking.
I had to place a guess myself, 2012.
@Sonarus
I just traded my premium to an Elite. Part of me thinks the Elite was Microsofts resolution to the problem while they go through the long stretch of sorting out the other models.
It's still an annoyance, though.
Aren't "horrible" per se.
Its marketing. They know they are going to shift far more copies adopting the same strategy as for sims 1 and 2 respectively; optimising them to run on lower spec pc's.
It would be bad from a sales perspective to market a game like that to the high-end when its a very family-orientated game and your average family may not have dual core processors.
Looks good enough for that business standpoint.
Well, there isn't any kinda verification that was actually at the event, interestingly its the only really close-up shot.
Take of parallells what you will. Microsoft have shady hardware and great software, PS3 is the other way around.
I'm having many problems with my 360 scratching disks, but it is an old model. Hopefully however, I'm not forced to trade in for a ps3, 360's got some great games out there.
What google are expecting, but next-gen mobile phones is not an industry whereby you can dismiss something as not selling, when the business itself has not taken off, due to its obscenely large price-tags.
Maybe when the prices are mainstream, the sales arguments can start.
Gran Turismo slowly but surely -is- losing it's grip on the #1 racer spot. It started to happen with Gran Turismo 4, it'll happen with 5 futher.
GT3 A-spec was an amazing release, sold millions of copies worldwide, and did not have competition. Turn 10 some time later came out with Forza Motorsport. Suddenly Polyphony were prompted to release a "small" version of GT4 at half-release price to show what GT4 could be capable of. When Gran Turismo 4 was finally released, ...
If there is room for multiple RPG's on the market at one time, then there is room for multiple open-world games too. Even if this game does not sell like GTA, it can still be a success in its own right.
If you read the first scan it says "Xbox 360 official magazine exclusive" that simply means OXM is bringing a preview not seen anywhere else, journo terming.
Someone needs some respect beaten into them.
And he'd actually be right. But that'd also apply to all WWII games out there. It's wrong to attempt to replicate that experience at all, but unfortunately in the business world, it seems to sell.
Good points too. Yeah I did know it was the only solution to the holocaust. But you hit the nail on the head with war being the answer to "some" things. Todays children/teens need to be educated that it's not the only answer.
I for one, however, do not agree wholehearedly with either party. I do not feel that this education should be done by taking a warbound situation and making light of it. But it seems thats the premise of this guys game, I can't fault his views on...
While being a holocaust survivor I'm sure he's been through hell, and witnessed acts we couldn't even dream of picturing.
In this situation, however. Should people really be educated of the holocaust simply by reading and watching all the gore and blood spillage. Or be educated that war isn't the answer to everything?
The premise of the game seems to be that its teaching the latter, and Jack would prefer the former.
To determine the game as "...
Best Multiplayer... no. That'd be Xbox live. Most Xbox releases have that real community feel that has yet to be surpassed. It may not always be efficient but Live is still the service to beat, PSN hasnt caught it yet, I won't even comment on Nintendos online service.
Best line-up? I wouldn't predict anything like that until after E3 is over, maybe not even then.
Best future? I doubt it. Every brand loses its touch, Sega lost it completely, Nintendo lost it for a...
People still buy games from WHSmith? more fool them.
