People don't just want New IP for new experiences, they want new IPs for the experiences they get on other platforms. In other words the new IP has to be a shooter or people will ignore it completely.
People have gotten fanatical about sales. Now sales have to be good for the product to be good.
more appealing = shooter game
It's 2014, Sony! Get up to date and learn how to make a secure online system!
300 dollars is a "next gen" price? What does that even mean? + There are a crap ton of 220 - 250 dollar Wii U's around. Too much denial.
The Nintendo double standards are real, with supporting evidence arising every day.
This game is absolutely perfect for Wii U. Ain't nobody want to pay on Sony/Microsoft systems to play Minecraft online.
The people waiting for $99 should just admit they don't want a darn Wii U. Not that hard to admit that you're not interested in something.
Just like Nintendo.

Nomura, I know you may never read this but: I'm a big Kingdom Hearts fan and if you brought Kingdom Hearts 3 to the Wii U it would mean the world to me. Thanks.
The Wii U Pro Controller wins in terms of battery life. Everything else is subjective.
I agree with this opinion derived from looking at an online image of the controller.
Wii U is a unique system with a focus on interactivity, and has a lot of compelling exclusive games coming out next year.
PS4 is the system people wanted. A safe normal console with the PS2/XB model and an increase in specs.
XBO is a multi-tasking system that pretty much offers the same stuff as PS4.
PS4 will win.
I am getting VERY sick of all of these ludicrous articles about Nintendo. This article is nonsense.
This is some of the dumbest journalism in the gaming industry. Journalists will write anything to join the Nintendoom bandwagon.
Oh no, not Fox News!
Plummeting? Lol fail. They're actually getting higher.
Because Wii U's focus is the interactivity with the 2 screens, Wii U brings more interesting ideas to the table.
I don't see much passion for games in this article. He's too caught up in sales and marketing. While those are 2 VERY important things, that doesn't mean that the system itself sucks.
It's easy to find a Wii U below MSRP these days...
No matter how many features Wii U gets, people will ALWAYS say the online sucks. Nobody knows the definition of "good online" and everyone looks to each other, causing a chain reaction of ignorance. Wii U isn't laggy and you can communicate with your friends, so what more do you need?
