Awesome. I got this and played this. Pretty good.
I'm calling it now:
Wii Fit U delay going to be announced in tomorrows Direct.
What? This system isn't selling at all! How can it sell out anywhere? BTW PS4 is extinct from trillions of sales in 2 minutes.
The analyst.... Makes sense, for once!
-The systems just launched. Game consoles always have high sales at launch.
-It's the holidays.
-PS4/XBO have hype selling them. People aren't really getting the system to experience new types of games right now, because all the games on the systems are just PS3/360 ports.
In 6 months, hype, the strongest asset of the PS4/XBO will die down, and the strongest asset of the Wii U, ...
It fits in as a safehaven for gamers seeking the most unique experiences next gen has to offer. The gamers tired of CoD/Battlefield/Madden/Fifa, same types of controllers, PS4/XBO wars even though the systems mirror each other in sheer game lineup and specs/graphics.
Wii U brings awesome new concepts to the table. ZombiU/Splinter Cell/Wind Waker,Nintendo Land, awesome new Gamepad experiences. Super Mario 3D World, Pikmin 3, Deus Ex, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Sonic Lost Worl...
Wha, close to 2 years? 13 months is close to 24? Nice math, buddy.
I wanted Ghosts but I got sick of Call of Duty games. I'm partially to blame for the low sales but after WaW, MW:R, BO, MW3, and BO:2 i'm finally tired of CoD. I want a different type of shooter.
But really, is it a bad thing that Wii U isn't a CoD box like PS4/XBO?
Sony/Microsoft are perfectly fine with playing the same tune over and over again. That's what's so appealing about them. You can get the same games with better graphics. That is the appeal of PS4/XBO.
The mainstream doesn't like Wii U because it's designed around making new ways to play games. The fact that it changes anything besides the graphics makes CoD/Fifa gamers nervous.
"If Wii U has such good games, why isn't it selling?"
Well, by that logic, the best game on PS4/XBO is Call of Duty: Ghosts.
"heck I still don't know what a wii u is"
This is the perspective from which most Wii U critics speak from. People with no knowledge of the system, thinking they know exactly what it needs.
Yes, because in 2013 I want to play games the same way I did 30 years ago.
Genius.
Ahhh, Shooters and Sports games. As expected.
If Nintendo wants to satisfy western gamers they must make the exact same games western gamers play on other systems. So FPS, Racing Simulators, and Sports games semiannually. And interactive movies like Heavy Rain and Ryse.
Truth, right here.
It's driven by insecurity. People don't want to get the "uncool" system because then their friends will make fun of them. But they also want Wii U's amazing exclusives so they beg day in and day out for Wii U games. It's quite sad how people have come to this.
Yeah, it's in trouble, sales wise. But the situation is improving whether the media hides it or not.
Wii U is getting a ton of awesome games with a ton of appeal. Nintendo is a strong company and will keep bringing out awesome games for us to enjoy, no matter how much Sony CoD and Xbox Fifa gamers attack them.
Yes, you're correct. Buying and playing the great games we want is wrong. I've seen so much port begging of Mario, Zelda, and Smash Bros in the past few days that i'm not exactly convinced that people are tired of the franchises.
Wow. Upward trend of Wii U sales. Wii U's sales have upgraded from "abysmal" to "so-so". I want to see this system succeed!
Darn thing sold 3 million by the end of 2012. PS4/XBO are on track to do the same by the end of 2013.
Gotta love people's twisting of information. Systems always have high sales at launch.
Sorry but you have to buy a Wii U if you want Nintendo games.
