He actually thinks MS would give up a $750,000,000.00 revenue stream a year, that's $50USD times 15 million, because quite a few people would be paying for it.
If MS made it free they would lose that amount of cash straight up and then charge extra for other services, MS is only about the coin.
Is the OP for real MS wouldn't have paid anymoney to pull FF13 over to the 360, hell there've never paid for any games to be pulled to the 360.
FFS MS have been running around the last few months saying they have been paying companies to port PS3 only games to the chopped down version of a PC AKA 360.

MS is a big company but most of it's assets is simply shares not real cash or property.
Also Forbes only takes into account the USA share market which Sony would be a minor part of due to it's Studio and Audio companies, so if that equals 42billion you'd have to jump over to the Japan share market and see what they are worth there plus do the money converion as the yen is worth more than the US Dollar.

At 75 hours that's at least 15 hours per day over 5 days and 11 hours per day over the 7 days.

I know, the way some people hager on about some avg review score being the holy grail for a game is pretty much a joke.
You take Maden it probably rates around 5 to 7 as an avg review score, and yet everyone complains how it has nothing new to offer yet still out sells halo in terms of overall sales easy and as a series over the years blows it away in terms of total year over year sales for what 20 years.
Even Halo has a pretty marginal avg...

the OLD MS would simply buy out everyone then bring out the bought out products then turf them then bring out the real MS oproducts which 9 out of 10 times were complete crap.

Doesn't come out on Xbox till 2010 and it's got a 2009 PS3 Jap relase, so I'd say US/Euro PS3 release will be in 2009 as well probably late relase say sept to dec 09, xbox early 2010.

That boartdlands looks quite good too, I guess the only reason why people are batting off on console engines is this place being for consoles though this is about PC engines.

1) The PS3 GPU is a PC part optimised for that job. The 360 GPU was a co design between ATI and Microsoft that is optimised for the console role.

E3 last year was a complete waste of time and money for those who put something up.
They displayed all the games in a hotbox, that everyone complained about.
Made it so you had to travel via buses to get to/from the game hotbox, which had bugger all in it due to their rules of only 1 sign above the game.
Then they had all the studios/companies shell out their own cash for a hotel to display their games in.

In a way I hope this doesn't allow a gameloader or boot loader as this will be forcing people to actually buy PS3 games and thus brings more interest fromgame companies to the PS3.
All the other consoles have mod chips etc in themallowing for pirated games but when you look at a pirated game and see it's been downloaded say 2000 times you know the game devs will be hurting with that loss of money.

Most people pirating either don't earn much or any money IE 15 to 20 year olds, and thus probably don't pay for their net connection either, the parents most likly are.
If your really paying for it you'll be paying for the net connection then you might need to add other expenses just to have that connection.
