Nope.
Awesome, these games are truly classic.
I don't know which is more unfortunate, that Microsoft actually thought that Kinect could actually be a functional replacement for the controller or that millions of people actually bought it.
I know you would desperately like to make that excuse but of course that's not what this is measuring, it's talking about over all value of sales not the percent difference between digital vs physical. As well as the fact this isn't divided by console.
BTW PS4 physical sales were up.
Huh, that's weird I wonder how this went down. Did they find an investor or get a bank loan? I'd be interested to hear the story.
Well the first week of December has already been posted.
PS4 1,001,089
Switch 626,196
xbox 587,494
So basically after the bump from the launch of the x we're back to PS4 doubling xbox sales and Switch between the two.
Revenue is an irrelevant statistic profit is what matters. And besides PS4 had higher revenue when you include PSVR and much higher revenue if you include software sales.
@Gunstar75
Does that hurt your feelings?
GT Sport outsold Need For Speed which is a multiplatform. People always want to say exclusives don't matter then only look at CoD and FIFA, the thing is there are TONS of multiplatform games that don't sell CoD FIFA numbers especially when you look at single console comparisons.
Luckily I built a Ryzen PC.
Sucks to be Intel though every CPU dating back to the Pentium is affected including their new 8 series.
Well I'd start by not forcefully bending it like is happening in the picture...
Or ya know he should have had the foresight not to talk crap about the PS3 and PC way before anything to do with xbox. And if you think this game would have sold better if it had been on xbox your kidding yourself, this game was doomed from the start.
"Something something burning bridges something something..."
It's hard to imagine it won't be, AMD has made it so scale-able they are using it in everything from laptops to data center servers. I pretty much expect it to use something similar to the new design AMD/Intel CPU's. Those have a CPU linked to the GPU tied together by EMIB (basically Infinity Fabric).
Sony even stated a while back when asked about their next console that they were looking into a solution with discrete graphics and not a APU. So it seems likely...
Oh gimme a break, you never complain when the articles say ridiculous things like the X is more powerful than a 1080tI.
@Woolly_
It's hilarious to see you now act like you weren't hoping/expecting the X was going to be the next big thing and that Sony was doomed.
What happened to the "Bring on Da Beast" and "When Da Beast is unleashed Sony will be doooomed DOOOMED I TELL YOU!1!1" little speeches you guys used to give lol
Anyways, wanna give a little speech about how exclusives don't matter, it might make ya feel better =)...
I blame the fact it was lead by Cliffy B. who has alienated everyone on every side of the fence.
And even if a game was to be blamed I would blame Overwatch, which was what they like Battleborn and so many other tried and failed to copy.
Yes, my prediction for 2018 is that Sony along with Nintendo will continue to take market share from Microsoft.
I knew when I saw this link it would be people trying to say b b b but digital.
How would you explain the fact that console sales were also down Y o Y? Are people buying digital consoles?
Lets be honest here, Microsoft offered very little reason to buy an Xbox last year until the very end when it released X which still arguably under performed.
So, this dev who hasn't released a game and only has one early access game on steam that you can't even buy yet qualifies as an "industry professional"? His website doesn't even list any console versions of games.
What's the more likely scenario here... that this guy who's never released a game has insider knowledge that Microsoft is buying "big games and big studios" or that he is just saying this stuff to get publicity for his gam...
