Why would I be in denial? There isn't anything graphically stunning shown here, and it looks like an action game, which the button masher genre isn't quite my cup of tea. Certainly not up to par with Killzone 2 graphics from what we've seen so far. That's just the way it is.
Nothing too impressing graphically shown so far, but I'm more interested in the new camera system, which would be a major upgrade from the others imo. First day rental for sure.

I'll reserve judgment till a higher quality vid is uploaded. From Jaffe's comments it sounded like it would look relatively close to the first cgi teaser. I'm not gonna hold my breath though.

I own both systems, and this game was just not fun at all. I'm far too busy playing Gears 2 to care about that game in the slightest.

I've had the pleasure of playing both, and in my honest opinion Gears 2 is still miles better in all areas besides story, which neither is too big on although Resistance 2 has a cooler ending thats for sure. Whoever says it doesn't have a decent multiplayer obviously has never played it. I bought a 360 for the sole reason the multiplayer is so good, and there's nothing like it, which is why the community for it is so big. This review however is downright horrible journalism. Actually I pre ordered the first GoW before you most likely even heard of it. The action genre has become stale now as it hasn't had anything revolutionary since the very first Devil May Cry imo, which is why I'm only renting it. Regardless I think this game will be a really good action title, but just not anything groundbreaking. For one most camera systems in this titles is horrendous, and if they fix that problem then they will be at least one huge step ahead of the bunch.
