Without online capabilities this feature is totally useless to me. Not like I can really imagine any deathstyle matches with the gameplay for RE anyhow. I mean if they added the ability to shoot while moving it would work. Oh, well online co-op was already a huge unexpected plus. RE5 ftw!

For starters no you couldn't shoot someone while they were chainsawing Gears 1 until after they had already sawed the other person in half. Anyone who played the game would know that. Not if they're not buying the 3rd party games bucko. The only thing they're saving is Nintendo, and Mario/Zelda/Smash Bros. Heck I doubt most of them know you can play more games then just wii sports on their console.
If you pick SF4 over KZ2 then something is seriously wrong with that picture. Otherwise get a job so you can get both games.
Gears is by far the most fun online game I've ever played, and I still have yet to play Killzone 2 so I can't compare the fun factor yet, but to say Gears 2 graphics are even remotely close to Killzone 2 is totally ridiculous. The amount of detail, effects, and lighting in Killzone is vastly superior to anything in Gears. Now you can say you're joking all you want, but you're just coming off as jealous, which is pretty pathetic. I'm just glad I own both systems so I can enjoy both games.
You do realize the all the cutscenes were interactive, and in the mission briefing you could even use the mk 2 to move around, change angels, and find items as well as easter eggs? You should play it again since it seems you missed a lot, which is understandable considering the vast amount of things you can do in the game.

You can play MGS4 however you feel like so you're both still quite wrong there. I played through the game 4 times, and one of those times I played it as a straight up shooter game. GTA 4 on the other hand has about the stiffest mechanics around. It still feels like 2001 with this game so if you do decide to take off the auto target you have some of the worst shooting in recent memory. Ok, you've just made your statement totally irrelevant right here. I seriously doubt you played the game at all since a very large portion of the game has shooting in it.

Sadly it is truly that bad.
You've obviously never played a Gears multiplayer match in your life. Most the matches are drawn out, and last quite some time, and at very minimal a few minutes. This isn't like some fragfest fps where you die every few seconds, and the points jump back, and forth every few seconds at all.
Fuel Depot, and Fuel Station are two totally different maps.
So did they give it a 4.5 or a 4? Either score is wayyy too much for that game. Maxim certainly isn't a trust worthy source for gaming.
