You're right I will think still think it's the best game in the world because I loved the demo, and thought RE4 was the greatest single player of all time, and this is an evolution on that game. It's you sorry n4g suckers who don't know how to play it who are complaining because you're a bunch of noobs.
It's just a revamped RE4 camera system. Only difference from 4 is now you use both thumb sticks, which is a lot better because now you have more control. Maybe you should try to learn how to play it instead of jumping on the n4g bandwagon. It plays just fine if you're not a complete noob.
You don't even know what generic is. Yeah, I see a ton of games with a horror theme set in the African region. Sorry all games can't be one of your generic first person shooters like Call of Duty, which is apparently the only type of game you know how to play.

I liked Dead Space, but it doesn't even beat RE4. Dead Space doesn't have the variety to beat a RE game. Play an entire RE game, and you'll soon understand.
But the jungle scenery got a bit old. This one looks like there will be a lot more variety in locations so it's going to be way better. Not to mention Uncharted is one of the best looking games, and this one looks way better even. Plus new features including possible co-op, and this title is a winner for sure. Can't wait.

A very solid review although I think it would have been good to mention that all the environments pretty much look the same. Not to mention all the subway stations seem cut n paste. I was way more impressed with the GI Joe trailer, which I wasn't expecting. I have a bad feeling the movie will turn out to be just like Michael Bay's Transformers though. A weak sauce storyline thats just there to pass time between the action scenes, which were a bunch of shaky cam fast cuts that equal out to a bunch of jumbled images. Transformers 2 will be just more of the same no doubt. Hollywood trickery to the max.

I despise the party system. I don't know why anyone wants to play the same levels over, and over because thats all people vote for. Not to mention not being able to pick the exact type of match you want or having the option for rematches.
I don't see how it revolutionized the genre, but it certainly helped raise the bar for the amount of content for a console game. Personally I don't care for Halo because of its bland generic art style, and worst of all implementation of a retarded matchmaking system.
If you stopped being a loser who spends his entire day hating something just because you don't own it then you might be able to afford a Ps3 as well as an Xbox so you can get the best of both worlds. I've only see you make ridiculous fanboy remarks. However I played the 360 version, and thought the controls were fantastic, but considering this is n4g I'd say most of them played it on Ps3. I have both systems, but I'll be picking it up for 360 because the controller. I'd say a lot of the hate here came from the fact that it got compared to Killzone 2 graphics wise. That, and a lot of them just got into gaming with the latest fps craze, and are only used to playing those type of games.
