No way. There may be less big budget AAA titles, but with the boom of indie games, there is more than ever to play. Wikipedia has incredibly expansive lists of games - compare lists of PS3 games with PS4, the PS4 is already ahead with more than 2,200 games.

I’m currently playing Judgment, Control, and Wilmot’s Warehouse. I’m still wanting to go back and play some more Gears 5 multiplayer. Dicey Dungeons is sitting on my desktop waiting to be chipped away at. Greedfall is sitting in a GameFly envelope that I haven’t opened yet. Meanwhile, Borderlands 3 just came out and Link’s Awakening is out... Jesus, this week?! Yeah, I’m feeling the heat.
PS Now does not have new releases on day one. That’s why nobody is talking about it and everyone is talking about Game Pass.
Exactly, and that is why Microsoft is making a lot more money off Game Pass than the old model. You get the customer subscribed at a low entry cost, and they tend to stay subscribed if the service is good, which I don’t think anyone would disagree with for Game Pass. It’s the same model that works for Netflix and the like. It’s inevitable that Sony will eventually catch up as well. And they’ll make a killing with their great lineup.
Just swap 4 and 2 Remake and I’m happy. Maybe move 7 up a bit too.
In your opinion... best looking is an opinion. It depends what kind of art style you prefer. But the technical aspects... 4K/60 FPS is a fact. And with all those visual effects and the incredible amount of content, I don’t see it being beaten this gen. Unless TLOU2 runs at 4K/60. The question is, is the PS4 Pro capable of that?
You were afraid of this?
Colonial expansion and native slaughter?! Shiver me timbers!
Density > Size
I thought it was hyperbole when I was reading articles about this being one of the best looking games of all time. The screenshots didn’t impress me too much. But after actually playing the game last night... wow, it looks pretty damn amazing in motion. The environments are packed with detail, the lighting is superb, and it runs smooth as butter on my X. This is the most I’ve been into a Gears game since the third one back in 2011. Can’t wait to play more tonight!
This game is so addictive.
I can imagine Bully 2 with a mission where there is a school shooting...
Some people are still waiting for it, lol.

Game Pass actually increases game sales due to raised awareness and word of mouth, not to mention the discount Game Pass members get on purchases.

You save an additional $13 at checkout. I just ordered it but it says estimated delivery of Sep 14 - 24.
This is really important because the more graphically advanced games have become, the longer they seem to take to develop. Imagine if Rockstar was able to release more than one game per gen again!
I guess I’m lucky that I haven’t been affected by any of these outages.
Forza Horizon 4 released day one on Game Pass and it’s the highest rated racing game of this gen. EVERY Microsoft game releases on Game Pass day one, regardless of quality.
Online gaming was barely a thing before Microsoft entered the industry. Most of the things on your list are a consequence of the Internet.
