right, but with any hack they need some sort of 'backdoor' they can exploit to gain them access. I'm sure Sony is worried that some clever hacker could use mod support to do just that
I know there are a ton of people on N4G that don't want to see anything negative about PSVR. But if you're a reasonable, rational person and are on the fence about it, go check out the giantbombs 5 hour live stream of PSVR. You really get a sense of some of the issues Kotaku is raising here. For me, its a 'wait and see' product. The Pro may improve it dramatically, as well as some firmware updates but for now, there were plenty of calibration problems. Some framerate chug...
