They do have a lot in common.

so you expected it to be a massive universe that you end up doing the same thing over and over and over again in. After 6 hours of gameplay I've already ran into repeated content. I'm sure there are still surprises to find, but the gameplay loop is just so tedious that I'm not sure I'm gonna stick around much longer

Considering they have hand crafted planets and bases that are full of NPCs with there own stories and quests and the space combat is phenomenal, yeah, there is gonna be plenty of fun stuff to do. NMS on the other hand.... not so much

The campaign has a release date for the end of this year. The MMO on the other hand? Well thats gonna be in development for years and years even after they've released it

I play it now on my 980ti. It runs pretty well

Highly doubt it will. When Roberts started crowdfunding for this game he specifically mentioned they will not develop for console. Not sure they could have predicted that there would be a 6Tflop console on market around the time the game actually releases, but as of know, I'm still skeptical this will make its way to either console

as opposed to having things draw in before your very eyes like in NMS? I'm playing NMS on a fairly highend PC. i7 6700k CPU and a 980ti and the terrain is still loading before my very eyes. One of my biggest gripes about this game. Completely kills immersion

well thats pretty promising

yep, it sure did

I'm still having a lot of fun, but it does feel slower

Titanfall is easily worth 60$. I still play it at least once a week and have put in around 150 hours and its been out for years. Production quality was through the roof in Ryse and QB. NMS, not so much. If I'm not enjoying a game much after 4 hours so yeah, its pretty damn easy to say its not worth 60$.

Yep I agree. I own it and have played for about 4 hours. definitely not worth the price so far

wow. Just awesome

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. And your English is fine. Don't stress about it

from everything I've played and seen, the biomes are the same across the entire planets. Its a cool tech demo, but it gets boring pretty quickly

The game is fun but it started to get old real fast. You can call it an exploration game if you want but really after you seek out those waypoints for a couple of hours, you've pretty much seen everything this game has to offer. Its just rinse and repeat for another 30-50 hours. If modders or Hello games add more in depth ship combat it would make this game so much more enjoyable

Really hoping some moders can fix some of the fundamental gameplay problems with this game

3515d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

yeah, it sucks up time pretty dame quickly

I'm only a few hours in but I'm enjoying it so far for sure. I'd really like much more indepth space combat/flight though. Its a game about travelling the stars so you're likely gonna be spending some time in your ship. It would be nice if it were more fun to fly. Hoping the PC mod community crack into this game, even tiny things like redistributing your shields, homing missiles and mines would go a long way
