Yeah it needs some balance. Sometimes I play a match where we beat round one by the skin of our teeth and then roll over round 2 in a minute. Still a lot of fun though
Yep, I'm with you. Just got to give it a chance. It feels different, but its really, really good
I feel like people need to give a chance. I was a little put off with my first few matches. Didn't get a single Titan, but once I started to figure out all the ways to increase your build meter it made a lot more sense, and I was able to get 2 - 3 Titans a match. I feel like its better at motivating players to complete the game types objectives and help each other out (considering the amount of build meter you get for stealing a battery and putting it in a friendly Titan). Also there ...
I just started playing Titanfall 1 after the tech test ended. There are many, many improvements to Titanfall 2 that are sorely needed. And I'm a huge Titanfall fan, have around 150 hours on the first one and can still pick up and enjoy a match at anytime.
My most anticipated game as of now
fools gold possibly
I've just hit the 6 hour mark on steam. Wish I would have returned it before I passed the 2 hour mark
Thats what happens when a developer promises the stars and than delivers dirt
There really isn't any other way to see it, Sean Murray is on record talking about features in this game that straight up don't exist.
I think its gonna damage Hello Games rep in the long run. I certainly will be thinking twice before buying anything they make again
I can't believe someone paid 1300$ for this game before it released. I feel pretty ripped off paying 60$
Well it was sold on hype and a prayer. I'm still convinced there was pressure from Sony to jack up the price to justify their physical release
I'll be getting it. Really love the first one and I have fun with this one so far
I felt a little put off by it at first but I'm really starting to take to it. I can understand why people are put off by the map design, but when you really get the hang of how the grapple works you can still really cruise across the map. Titan times aren't limited to killstreaks, basically any progress for the gametype will decrease the titan build time which really incentives people to actually complete objectives and help out team mates. For example removing an enemy titans batt...
Its still pretty good. I'm having a lot of fun with it.
Just make space combat deeper. It would go a long way
The idea of base building seems cool, but there needs to be a reason to do it. Just having a building I made on a planet isn't really enough
so far I'd probably agree with you, but this is just a 'pre-alpha technical test' so I'm going to withhold my judgement
wall running was pretty damn easy in Titanfall 1. I feel like the maps are much more sprawling in T2 so ' wall run without ever hitting ground' seems much less likely.
It does incentivize you to lean how to properly use the grapple though
There are only three gamemodes in the technical test, I assure you Attrition will still be there. Map design has been expanded to accommodate the grappling hook. It feels less maneuverable until you learn how to properly use it. Every Titanfall match ended with every player in a Titan, and I have a feeling Respawn wanted to address that and make Titans feel a little more special when you get them.
All of these changes are understandable. But my biggest gripe is moveme...
I feel like the 'pre-alpha tech test' title is referring to the network servers and not the game itself. If this game is in pre-alpha and is releasing end of Oct. Respawn is in a lot of trouble
