That's a Brazil problem, not a Sony or gaming problem. Period.
@RedDeadDestroyer
I rearing up common sense. The article title is Vita focused, like it's some pricing conspiracy from Sony and other gaming companies. It's not, it's a Brazil issue. Try to understand. If not, piss off.
The 360 costs over $1000. What's this article's point? http://thenextweb.com/la/20...
3 is my favorite over 4, god damn, 4 was epic.
He's talking about the Zune Video Marketplace on the 360. Not the failed Zune hardware. PSN is slow for you because you have a 3-5MB connection.
You're welcome.
I disagree with this entire "MOST 3rd party games ARE better on the 360" bullshit notion. It's really not 2007 anymore. Dead Space, Batman, COD...with a ton more out there, but I don't think I need to post anymore. As far as this YouTube in HD thing...who gives a shit? Can you rent movies in HD from YouTube via the 360 app? No? It's a non-issue. YouTube videos look fine via the PS3. As far as Crackle, the only thing pixelated are the Seinfield ads that play every now and...
The name doesn't let me play online for free. Call it whatever the hell you want.
EDIT: No, I'm just not whining like a puppy pulled from its momma's tit over a name. If you think the name does let you play online for free, ask yourself that question.
Love it or hate it, MS has done a hell of a job selling the 360. I think the same came be said for Sony and the PS3 too.
You should be able to sell your imaginary PS3 for an imaginary fortune!
When I drop $60 on a game that has multiplayer, I'll be damned if I pay AGAIN in order to play it. Or use the Netflix subscription I've already paid for. Or watch Crackle videos that are free to watch on phones, PCs and the PS3. Or Tweet. There's not a single thing XBL offers that is worth $60 a year, especially when damn near everything it offers is free everywhere else.
They're adamant b/c it's not a mobile phone playing bite sized games. There's plenty of room for dedicated handheld gaming devices.
I would've paid the $10, but getting it free with PS+ is so sweet! Can't wait to rock this co-op.
Windows 7 64 bit is solid as hell.
You've got to realize how much fail that was, right?
Why are online passes such a big deal and Xbox Live ok? It is, after all, a online pass...you need to play ALL games new or used online.
Name is not irrelevant. Nintendo could drop Gameboy b/c their products are anchored by the company brand, Nintendo.
That's really a ridiculous suggestion. Drop the brand name that is recognized with your company's highly successful gaming business? Bravia or VAIO I could kinda understand, but this is just reads like a blind attempt at being insightful.
@DK286K
The Mortal Kombat demo was tied to PS+ as a benefit of being a PS+ subscriber. There was no "Buy this game and get the demo before the other platform!" garbage. If you're going to try and use that as an example, try not omitting the facts behind it. Why no uproar? For the same reason there's no uproar when Borderlands with all the DLC is discounted to $15 or Back to the Future, Far Cry 2, Tomb Raider Underworld, etc. are free - benefits of being a PS...
@WrAiTh Sp3cTr3
Yeah, the sting of buying Dragon's Dogma will suck for 360 owners.
@LOGICWINS
I sound like a person who wouldn't pay $60 for Dragon's Dogma to play a demo 2 months early.
"The purpose of the timed demo is
1) To create another justification to buy a 360 over a PS3 in the early summer months."
Yeah, a tidal wave of consumers are going to buy a 360 over a...
Is it not telling that they now need timed exclusive DEMOS? I don't feel anyone who is interested in RE6 cares that the demo is on XBL first. It will still sell on the PS3.
Hearing a 360 fanboy talk about "saving money" is HILARIOUS.
On topic: I just got my hands-on @ Gamestop and played some Uncharted. The screen is amazing, the hardware is light, the analog sticks are close to perfection...this system is the real deal. Can't wait to get it and Resistance!
