well dying and reloading breaks the immersion, so yeah when I play for story I like it to not die, Tomb Raider was terrible for immersion with all those stupid QTE I kept failing and impaling into trees...
Though Infamous has never really been all that difficult so if it is more rewarding to play on hard probably will do that for first playthrough instead of normal difficulty.
Nice article. I usually just play on normal difficulty to experience the story but it sounds like the game is funner when playing on hard
Only got the limited edition because amazon was all out of the collectors edition, but it just shipped so in a few days I'll be able to play my copy even with a bare head
only if by too big you mean 40 hours of cutscenes of a girl singing and making breakfast eggs
"then he told me the significance... 'It will be significant"
"Then he killed the dog" FART "ARF-"
any ps1 or ps2 game that is 3d is unplayable to me, not because of graphics, but because of terrible controls and camera, which plagues EVERY game from those eras. I tried Ico, Jet Grind Radio, and a few others that were on PS+ and just couldn't get past the enormous flaws, all the while I can still go and dust off my NES and Genesis and enjoy wholeheartedly games like Mario 3 or Aladin on Genesis.
THe PS1 and 2 were a time of transition and it wasn't until PS3/Xbox360 did th...
I'll come home and enjoy this after going to the "RAGU" festival
I WON!!! Now I can buy Infamous :)
just one?
truely the year of the X1
Last I knew Netflix has maintained their policy of turning a blind eye to "sharing" netflix accounts.
Personally the only other person with my password lives in the same house, though I spent a year away for school and used my netflix on many different stolen wifi signals lol.
@alex
You have no idea what you are talking about.
Movie aspect Ratios and "bars" are there because TV's have chosen to make a aspect ratio the STANDARD, there is no standard though. Certain movies are greatly enhanced by being in a very wide aspect ratio. It allows for great cinematic shots that a square just can't do justice. If you are old enough to remember pre HD tvs you will remember how boring the composition was due to the awful cropping. Though I hig...
I thought lightbox wasn't around anymore. Does that mean we may get a proper sequel instead of that disappointing Starhawk
I swear the best looking game ever was Bubsy 3d
No it is not, it is a shame you are trying to charge 40$+ for what amounts to 2 hours of gameplay and 2 hours of nonsensical cutscenes
Length of gameplay plays into the value of the game, if you aren't given us both a long worthwhile experience and replay value why pay full price?
that type of statement is the same as saying Books are better than movies, there are always stories that truely excess as telling a story in the confines of its medium.
Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite are 2 examples or extremely well crafted stories.
I agree with them needing a "Marvel" and the producer of a lot of Marvel movies Avi something, is supposedly trying to do that, can't remember what upcoming projects he's involved with. For now it is just a dream we have of seeing our favorite games get a proper adaptation.
And I loved the Scott Pilgrim movie, if the comic never existed and was based on the game maybe this article wouldn't of had a point.
both the fist resident evil, and first mortal kombat are pretty watchable but are far from GOOD movies.
The best movie to involve game characters would be Wreck it Ralph but that isn't an adaptation.
I so badly want this game, it is the game that made me get the PS4. I plan to try to do a little short "pixar" like movie to hopefully promote my webcomic and raise money for my film. This game can't come soon enough
