It offers you the ability to take your games anywhere. You don't even need a sony product to do so. I thought VitaTV would be amazing but they don't even need that now. Bravia TVs can stream ps3 games without it. That right there is amazing. This is the turning point in gaming. No longer is it dependent on hardware. they are easily going to exceed their forcasted 5 mil by March at this point. At this rate they will probably have 7mil sold by then, probably 12-15mil sold by November!
Most of the content is NOT owned by the cable companies. I know G4 was owned by Comcast, and Comcast ruined it, Cable companies have no idea how to make good content or run a station, all they can do is be a middle man between the content creators like Sony, 20th century Fox, Viacom etc.
Sony is taking the precedent of saying F U to cable companies, and doing it themselves. Hopefully others will follow suit.
It will make cable companies more useless than the X1. Which is a good thing. F COMCAST! Cable companies need to go the way of phone companies and the dodo. Rip people off with countless "1 time fees" EVERY MONTH.

I think they should offer for 15-20 a month unlimited access to the entire library. Sort of like Netflix.

Is it just me or have any of you lost interest in this game already. When it was first announced I was like OMG! even in the early part of 2013 I was psyched for it, but around the time of E3 it just started to loose its magic in my eyes.
I am far more interested in Infamous and the Order than I am in Watchdogs at this point.
Yeah sony won't fail. Just look at the moves they've made this past year, yeah they dug a hole, but they've shown they're determined to dig themselves back out of it.

They have shown that they didn't need it at launch so strategically it would be good to release when they are planning because that is Tax Return season and will boost PS4 sales

I love my ps4, I just hope they fix some of the issues I've had with it soon. There are hard freezes when booting Netflix, and there are times where my ps4 boots up with no sound and needs to be restarted, besides that the system is amazing. Though I wish they had a switch like the ps3 on the back for dealing with hard freezes, hate having to disconnect the power cord to turn a frozen system off.

agree. After 4 I stopped playing, same game over and over and terrible graphics. The ps4 version looks about as bad as many ps3 games from 2008
