European one is way better
@My_Name_BTW_Is_Donte a.k.a. Leauge_of_Draven the 2nd
It IS a Metal Gear game for the fans of Metal Gear and also for fans of action games, if you choose to accept it or not. Believeing its not is more of a personal problem and I feel sorry for you because of that. Metal Gear fans have been asking for a game like this since Gray Fox first appeared looking and doing things awesome in MGS 1 and if you are not one of them so be it, dont get the game, just like as a DMC fan, I saw h...
@soniqstylz
I was pretty sure he meant the 2 coles lol, but my point was they are not the same character, they play very differently, yeah they share very few moves but are very different when it comes to powers, combos, using supers and play style overall.
The PS3 version should have been called Sigma 3, now it wont look right next to the first 2 Sigmas on my shelf :/
Hey do you know League_of_Draven? Because he and his hate seemed to have disappeared on all the Metal Gear Rising articles and then you showed up lol, you guys would be best buddies, hating on MGR and loving DmC, unless you are him being that you created your account 6 days ago and Leauge_of_Draven disappeared close to that (7 days ago) and you guuys have the same birthday...
Kojima personally requested for Platinum to develop the game because he knew working together with them can result in something amazing. This game seems to have a lot going for it, it is bringing something new to both Metal Gear and action games in general.
Funny how you say "Otherwise Platinum Games would've made this as a new IP with some originality. This looks like it will flop hard." and this game is a shallow attmept to cash in on a popular franchise name...
"Sony should have had one of their better internal teams make it if they wanted it to do well."
Superbot developed the game inconjunction with Santa Monica Studios.
"crappy characters like Raiden over someone like Solid Snake (or even Big Boss)"
Raiden fits very well into the game and is better suited as a character to be put into a fighting game than snake (even though Snake still may make it into the game and I would l...
This should have been his default design / color in Metal Gear Rising, looks awesome I just might buy it...
The demo of Rising had a good number of combo moves and other unlockables things that are rewarded / purchased later in the game already available for you to give you a more in depth feel and taste of the gameplay and demonstrate what you will be allowed to do to get you interested. Plus, if you play on harder difficulties not available in the demo, enemies are harder and can be a bit different (as in having more armor, parrying you, and fighting more often than just standing around). Upgrade...
I wouldn't say invention, but definitely something new for both Metal Gear and for action games and is sure to be nothing but amazing. Brings hack and slash with stealth elements and the "cut everything" plus blade mode features and some crazy looking boss battles to name a few (yet obvious) things. Been waiting too long for this game, but it's finally almost here.
But wait, which one had blade mode?
Can we get a translation of the page please :/
Wonder what and of whom the sub stories will be about, excited to find out.
Comment I've posted way back:
-It has Metal Gear Characters from MGS2 and MGS4, as well as interesting new characters who fit in the universe well (Raiden, Sunny, and possibly others to be seen like the rumoured Solidus being referenced and possibly appearing, most likely through flashbacks)
-It has Metal Gear Units (such as the Ray and Gekkos)
-Takes place on the Metal Gear timeline and Universe (around 4 years after Metal Gear Solid 4)
-Kojima an...
The enemies are all cyborgs yes, they are cyborgs in the VGA announcement trailer as well just the designs were not done, thats how they work around getting the game censored in Japan with the Zan Datsu cut anything system, having them all be cyborg.
There is dodging, you press square and X together (PS3 of course) and a direction to dodge and it does a hit simontaneously as well. But yeah there is no blocking / dodging button as seen in other Hack and Slash games, but I love that they are staying a way from that, makes gameplay a little bit more engaging and feels more interesting to me, just a little something different can leave a big impact and impression on a player.

Don't mind him, he loves DmC and hates Platinum as shown and stated on evey article he comments on, he wants his hate to catch on, like an angry man starting an argument with you wants his anger to pass on and be contagious because he can't accept that this game has the potential to be a much greater game than DmC being that 2 of the most talented Japanese Developers are behind it. You guys and I already know you cant mash square, ...
Which makes me confused as to why that game can have classic Dante and not Playstation All Stars
I think Ninja Theory did that on their own lol
Of course you care about DmC, as if we havent seen you say that on every DmC article as well as every Metal Gear Rising article.
This is a real Metal Gear game whether you choose to accept it or not, with a story being done by Kojima Productions, so Im pretty sure they do not want to crap on their own game series story. No one forced you to play MGS2 and no one is forcing you to play MGR:R, and I think you got your games mixed up with that last part, DmC has the more emo vers...
I will also be buying both, the smartest thing for any hack and slash action game fan. I also want to say God of War in comparison to MGR has a simpler combat system, but God of War: Ascension is definietly bringing up the combat compared to its previous entries, its has more variety when it comes to combos as well as picking up weapons and items from the enviornment. Just because combat is simpler doesnt mean its not great, it works for the game that it is, playing as Kratos is like being in...
