Damn that PS4 games list is looking mighty sexy, if all is true I find it hard for Microsoft to "kill Sony" as they said this E3.
I like season passes (unless its Capcom DLC) except for annual release games (Assassins Creed, Call of Duty) its just really pre-ordering the DLC, it gives them the money to develop it, shows how many people are interested to maybe make more, and it keeps the game interesting (especially with this game having SP and MP DLC). DLC is not bad itself, its the way developers / publishers abuse it these days. The best DLC come in expansion packs in my opinion, like Battlefield having new maps, weap...
Call of Duty is never the series to use when comparing graphics of anything, unless your comparing it to itself (just like how Ghosts looks not to far off from Black Ops 2 on PC with Max settings). Secondly you are using some of the best looking PC games (that most gamers probably couldnt even run on their PC with max or even high graphic settings) and comparing it to an incomplete, unimpressive, outdated looking game (which is Call of Duty, known for average graphics utilizing what is still ...
There is another article saying this same video is for teasing / announcing Momiji coming to Dead or Alive 5. I think that sounds more probable and makes more sense than a new game or version of the game seeing how the video has Momiji fighting audio in the beginning leading up to showing her in the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 japan setting om a building in the very beginning of the game (maybe a new stage that will come with her as DLC).
Actually the HD collevtion and all the PS2 versions of Devil May Cry sales spiked (as you can see from amazons bestsellers list and other games lists). All Devil May Cry games were above DmC on all the lists for about a month (dont know where they are now) and the HD collection could have proabably even managed to sell close to or pass the sales of DmC during its launch week. I think not only did a majority of fans not support DmC, but tried to send Capcom the message, we want Devil May Cry (...
@DOMination-
Heavenly Sword was a good game, not the best, but thats why everyone wants a sequel because the base was already established and all they can do is make things bigger and better from there. Its funny when you think about it, Heavenly Sword was the only Ninja Theory game that has made a profit for them and it was a PS3 exclusive out a year after the PS3 launched (2007) when the PS3 did not have the biggest instal base at all. Ninja Theory had even turned down an ...
I have always been confused as to why people hate EA so much, always thought Capcom is much worse, personally I really dislike Capcom they died to me this generation.
Its only not worth the $60 and too short if you are one of those players who just go through the story once and thats it. Thereis definitely a good amount of replayability, I unlocked all difficulties, I'm on my 6th playthrough of the story trying to get all the titles unlocked, I've found all the collectables, I've already done all the VR missions with the gold / 1st rank, I've already purchased and unlocked all customization items and enchancements, I'm 2 trophies away f...
This game is great, the story is great (can use some explainations in 1 or 2 areas, but other than that codec and main game script great story), cutscenes are pretty cool, the bosses are interesting (Monsoon is my favorite boss amongst any game recently released), dialouge and voice acting are great (as always for a Metal Gear game) aside from jack the ripper dialouge at times, VR missions were fun while challenging and there is a lot of replayability. On my total gameplay counter (which is s...
From DMC 4 I think the Nero vs Dante boss battle (not the intro tutorial one) was a great boss battle this gen too (my favorite fight in DMC 4).
**POTENTIAL SPOILERS**
My top boss battles of this generation I can think of are:
Posiden (God of War 3)
Metal Gear Ray (Metal Gear Solid 4)
Monsoon (Metal Gear Rising)
Kessler (Infamous)
I'm sure there were more great ones, I just cant think of them off the top of my head.
Its going to be the sales buddy that determines if it flops, this review is nothing he just couldnt play and wants it to be DmC easy so he can get to the end, the reviews for this game are basically where DmC reviews are at (even though a lot of them just gave DmC high numbers with the content of the review sounding like a 7 but the game gets a 9 and others wanting to prove "Nay- sayers" wrong they gave it a high score).
I think the 2 things Sony really needed for this games was more advertising and more time for the game. The game is great, I'm playing it almost everyday with friends, with family, it is fun I just think it needs more balancing (mainly when it comes to 2 vs 2) and it could use some improvements on the menus. For the arcade it could be better, but its the first game so I dont mind really, as long as they know now the next game should improve. As for the characters people are requesting so ...
I dont understand why they couldnt have just used Europes commercial for America too, I much rather the European one
Just like LOGICWINS said devs / publishers should constantly be trying to give us the right information and I'm glad Platinum is trying to tell people themselves the game is longer than the stats chart shows it to be, because sometimes people dont take the time to think about anything they read, they just read / see something and automatically take it as truth negative or not and either set themselves up for disappointment or mistake something for being worse than it actually may be. I...
@Raiden1991
Yeah I think so too being that some of the upgrades shown in the trailer werent on the equip / purchase menu and it seemed like other weapons will have their own upgrades as well aside from the general raiden upgrades and katana upgrades.
In the demo they made some of the upgrades available so people can get a sense of what combat will feel like for most of the game, not just how it feels like in the beginning, because then it might look repetitive being that its the first real mission, same thing the DmC demo did.
But quantity is not determined through one playthrough, you dont know how the person played the game (if they skipped cutscenes or not and / or skipped all codec conversations or not), if they just ran through it as quick as they can the time it took to complete the story will obviously be less and if he didnt it would be higher. I feel Platinum has definietly put in a lot of replayability with the different difficulties levels, playing through it all action or all stealth (everywhere a steal...
Good article and I agree with what was written, it would be so sad to ever see a company this great go out of buisness due to the lack of marketing and exposure, they are one of the few creative and innovative developers, as well as one of the few japanese developers who still do japanese style games that are amazing. I loved all their games this generation and most of their games as Clover Studios, they really do deserve more attention in the gaming industry and I'm glad they most likely...
I'd take a bundle with the camera and PS plus for $499 (which will save $10). With all the free-to-play games coming out for PS4 I don't think there is as much of a need to bundle in games as before (but it still is always nice like amazons launch bundles Game + PS Plus) and if your throwing in PS Plus, you get Driveclub PS+ and some indie games. But yeah like you said, its best to keep it simple with the SKU's, the less customer confusion the more satisfied people are knowing wha...
