Cobra951 - I've dabbled with PC gaming, and enjoy building water cooled PC's - I've built 3 so far. I found the community toxic, in some cases uneducated, people rattling facts without actually knowing what they're sayomg.
Console gaming is an equal playing field, and I enjoy that. The only variables are controller choice, display and internet.
Let it die I say, it won't offer anything that the other console makers won't. At least with the others you get some exclusive content. Google can take the L on this one.

Funny thing about that - and it's relevant to console and PC, games take 4+ yrs to make. What's the point in upgrading every few years? How many FPS do people need?

Just think in Aus it'll probably cost about $700 - $800, hoping for $699. At that price the tech inside should be competitive, if not market leading.
You're playing the wrong games mate, have a crack at GOW, HZD and U4 and you'll see some amazing character models. Sony 1st Party are on another level, PS5 will facilitate graphic artists with more freedom and less constraints to create even more lifelike character models.

Being a torchbearer is a tough act, you could applauded or crucified. I just don't see the benefit of censoring games that are clearly aimed at Adults.
The issue of censorship is a serious one. All the bullshit blown out of proportion faults (BC & CrossPlay) of Sony this gen - were media driven. Gamers are genuinely annoyed that Sony or any other company is censoring a product.

Why would Kojima do that? That would destroy any sense of discovery. Look at 99% of the games play the same, and have similar stories and pacing.
Skipping E3 - who cares? We already know the big games from Sony, State Of Play is enough. If they do a PSX it will be about PS5 and PS5 only.
