Played crysis 2 demo last night a few times, nice game tbh.
Blur is nice, same kinda slide etc like killzone3 is also nice. Love the climb action.
Just hope there are plenty of maps.
But i will be picking up CRYSIS2,BF3. DAY 1.

Panda that was a cheap shot, considering crysis2 isn't doing true 3d. That's why there is no performance loss.
They extract data from the 2d image, and output a second image from that.
Killzone3 is basically running the game twice. Yes it's at a lower rez, but it's not surprising.

1)Cell is different - Single core does not and will not get any newer game running properly. Either more cores or spu's.
2)128bit 22.4gb/s is ok for 720p, just. But with aa it needed more. 256bit should have been used.
3)512mb isn't bad. But not when your using it for your O/S as well. Should have had it's own set.
Personally i'd have prefered the PS3 launching like this.

DX9 has been around for along time and that's why it's the main support, because most have it.
Fk all games have had DX11 in them so far, little parts here and there. Dirt2,avp etc.
People rush out and buy the newest thing, trouble is it's never supported in large doses straight away.
DX10 was a mess, drivers were poor when released, half the games supported ran better in DX9. Most even switched to it for more fps.(yes it&#...
