I think Uncharted 1 should have had tripple the sales it did, and motorstorm pacific rift should have done alot better.
Gears did how it did because microsoft got behind it big style, same thing sony should have done with uncharted 1.
Crysis was ok story, no better or worse the other fps.
Most of the time, it's some sort of war, objective, a bad man causing the problems, you'll meet at the end, blah blah.

I actually enjoyed both, but in different ways tbh.
I like where you get to drive sh%t, probably why i love BF games so much. And R1 had some of that. Also felt darker.
Graphics were better in the second game, and balt i'd have to disagree, some textures were actually nice, some were poor.

But seriously the demo's on both 360/PS3 are buggy.
I don't really see that game pushing much, but a pc is brute force, dependant on rig.
I thought the demo was nice, mountains etc, and some facial stuff, but that's about it. Abit overrated imo.

You do know that companies visit devs to make sure things are ok. It's common pratice.
Kinda like when crysis was being made for PC, amd,ati,intel,nvidia were all there.
It's nothing to do with painting textures, or realtime lighitng, it's alittle something called feeding spu's. Which 70% of devs have issue's with. You need to know the tech inside out. Something that crytek are having issue with.

Imo nobody has touched ND in alot of area's, i love their shit. BF3 looks amazing, but i don't think the faces do. Most games facial tech does not look alive. You can pump as many polys as you want...

They are totally different games.
COD will not stop selling no matter what BF3 looks like.
The only way to steal away the COD crowd is through different modes.
Say.
Mode A - Openscale, huge battles, capture flags etc.
Mode B - Small maps,tdm,ctf,ffa, explosive shit.
Mode c - openscale again, but with all the little modes.

PS3 is never going to match a PC for pure power.
But i wouldn't say a PS3 is fully used by most anyway.
It does have some good looking games and i've no doubt good devs will make the most of it.
BF3 btw looks excellent, but it's a combination, animation looks good because of fifa animations. which is a nice use of it.
